Anyone else think Larry had got his sub wrong?

Genuinely thought Feeney would go off when Fonz came off - didn’t really understand why he’d take Madine off - was the partnership just not working or did Madine have a bit of a knock! Either way, I clearly called it wrong!

Not sure they can play together and it should be one or the other starting as they are both number 9's and when Fonz came on in the number 10 role it looked a lot better.

Madine had a pack of ice applied in the dugout suggesting a knock. Perhaps explained the unusually timed substitution.

Plus maybe Tuesday in mind.

Madine has looked better on the ball then Gnanduillet.

Given hes still only played a couple of games he should improve further and bed in even more.

I thought it was an odd one at the time, but Delfouneso did improve us, I thought. Though to be fair, the game was opening up by then.

Definitely thought Madine looked the brighter of the two in the first half but then Gnanduillet was in the right place at the right time. Would prefer to see Madine and fonz start together

I think Madine is a replacement for Gnando who will be off in summer, from what I've seen today Madine seems a similar type of player hopefully with a better first touch. However Bambi like Gnando is, he has scored 17 goals & unless we'd had an alternative doing the same we would be just above Bolton. As for the subs I said Virtue for Spearing late in the first half as he wasn't really needed or adding his usual terrier like breaking up of play, the two new lads seemed to have things under control my only worry would have been are they match fit (yes time proved they were) Think Fonz gave us a bit of pace up front & whilst he doesn't seem to read the game very well he does run at defences & got what I thought was a soft pen (I'll take them all day long though) As for Ward who I thought at first was Nuttall never seen him before & too short a time to be able to comment on him, I'll take the win against a struggling side who can sometimes be just as hard to beat as one that's expected to beat you.
