My eldest lad did at Manchester and I’ve been having a clear out and have 12 big thick Law (text) Books with various titles.

They cost a pretty penny but he’s had his use out of them and to anyone who can make use of them they are Free.

You can collect or I can even drop off locally

If you want any further info then just ask

cheers

Sell them to Owen….. he needs all the legal assistance/advice he can get 😋 he’s certainly been reading the wrong ones for years!

Offer them back to his old uni. I remember our uni used to put older versions of recommended course materials in their library so that less well off students who couldn't afford latest versions could borrow them.

Let me know what you have Blood and I'll ask my lad though Halifax offered him some and he had online access to all

What a daft thread ..either advertise them on a relevant site (not this one) or stick em in the card/paper recycling bin….
Are you very irritable or something? You can see what I’m trying to do. I’m not trying to get someone to take em away for free, I’ve said I’ll even deliver locally. I just thought Law Books are expensive and it may save some young person a lot of money by using these instead of shelling out a load of readies

But you carry on being a miserable bastard by all means…..not a problem

Keep your wig on, my point being it’s a football website mostly elderly male contributors..

So many people have been helped on this forum over the years….

From maybe preventing self harm, even suicide to getting other types of help whether knowledge, materialistic or financial.

Yet YOU think that shouldn’t happen and it should go elsewhere.

I personally would prefer people like you to go elsewhere.

..but I respect everyone’s right to post drivel (including me) - so do your worst 👍👍

…ideally elsewhere 👍👍👍👍

Give them to X3 to prop up his bed. Should stop that snoring, no problem 👍

But the people who post on here don’t have kids or grandkids who could be going to University to study Law?
Daftness aside, there's a huge amount to be gained from donating or upcycling stuff we don't need or can't use. A lot of waste is just usable stuff in the wrong place at the wrong time.

I'll hop off the soap box now apart from wondering if this board could have a section for such stuff? Could include unused matchday seats, days at the cricket, gig tickets as well as ill fitting clothes and rusty bikes. A quick check each day and you might strike gold 👍

You don't need to justify yourself Blood - some folk just seek conflict where there is none to be had.
Hopefully the books will be of valus to young TAM and save old TAM & Mrs Tam a wedge 🧡

For what it’s worth, from reading your posts, you strike me as being kind-hearted …so I’d say it’s totally in character for you to make this offer..you shouldn’t have to justify it!!

Just in case you can't find a home for them Blood, you can sell on Amazon for a good price. Photo below are prices for used books, but depending on what he has you can get up to £100.

Only just come across this thread, and probably a prime example of why I spend less time on here as I used to. (Never an avid poster more a reader) A kind gesture to help fellow fans and still some moan.🙈
