Anyone know this guy?

Some of you lads have very little class at all and less tact

The lad has lost his thumb and two fingers regardless of exactly how it happened and some of you are pretending you are Colombo and trying to “solve the case” rather than feeling any sympathy or wishing the lad well

Spot on, Blood. Internet sleuths rarely add anything positive in situations like this and end up obfuscating matters and often upsetting those involved's families and friends.

Leave it to those whose job it is to sort things. And I'm sure the people on this thread who witnessed it have spoken to the police if they feel they can help; they don't need to be taken to account by people who weren't there.

Fair enough Tim, it’s just it comes across a bit, pissed up, showing off, misjudged, bang. My instinct would be either kick it or immediately pull back my son from potential danger.
Just for the record even if he was fully involved in the throwing of fireworks absolutely no way did he “deserve” what happened to him. Call him out, arrest him fine but what happened to him was awful whatever way you look at it.
I asked him why did he not kick it whilst I was driving him to A&E, he told me he did but it just span round (this has been backed up by 2 people I have spoken to who were right next to him) so he then (unfortunately) decided to pick it up to throw it out of the way.

I have called the old bill 3 times but had no joy being put through to anyone so emailed them with what I know on Monday, they still haven't got back to me, maybe because I was stood by the road when the incident occurred so I cannot corroborate what actually happened.

What Blood TAM BFCX3 & Phil_bfc deux & Pelada say👍👍
Phil I hope your son’s trauma is reducing & that Speedy’s surgery was successful.
I was outside the ground on Sunday but the incident had already happened when I arrived.
Todayistheday just put your keyboard away and go back under that stone you keep coming from under 🤡......🚌#88

Hopefully the police get somewhere with this.
The people that will be fully aware of exactly who lit and threw it will be mates of the perpetrator and will probably need one of them to come forward, which is probably unlikely.

TITD is a nasty piece or work.

That said, I hope the police and the club come down hard on this sort of thing. I'd shut Block A and B for a month and spread the displaced people all round the ground. Too many of these people think their is safety in numbers and they can do what they hell they like.

Shut the only part of the ground that creates an atmosphere. Great idea.
