Anyone miss it?

Had a great day yesterday not ruined by football! Didn’t miss BFC one bit!
Think that’s the problem the club has next season, there is so much apathy it’ll take more than a pic of a fist clenched Critch to get fans re-engaged.

I miss the days when we attacked & attacked under Ollie. Maybe we will get something similar in the future. Who knows. I’ll still get a ST but won’t be that bothered missing half a dozen games whilst we are away.

No, I don't really like football these days, everyone's po faced and business like, including the fans, no one used to bang on about formations or stats it's supposed to be fun, all the staff look miserable as sin during the week.

I only get a ST and turn up out of habit.

Ended up watching the Play Offs and City plus Match of the Day and all the Championship stuff!!

Usually zone off for a month or so after the season ends.got the euro’s next month till July then the pool return to action in August.time flies.

My poor old mum passed away yesterday afternoon, 99yrs and 3 months. So she waited until the season finished! Strange and sad day mixed with relief for her as she had been in a nursing home for the past 18 months and deteriorated a lot over the past 6 months so it was a blessing.

Dad will be waiting for her I have no doubt but will be cusrsing as he'll have to cancel his Sky Sports now, no chance of him being allowed that, it will be back to snooker on BBC Heaven!

Nice thoughts to help you get through Herts.
When my mum was ready to go she'd compiled a mental short list of who she was looking forward to seeing on the other side. My dad was no where near the list.

Eric Blair?

All is not good or well amid dire football.

The only people compelled to maintain habits for no advantage remain nuns.

As other fans, tell Sadler you will kick the habit unless he gives Critchley the boot.

Great age but still sad news.

Woke up depressed furthest Saturday from seeing the mighty Pool

Why do you bother to come on here then!
Surely you have some passion for the club if you are still on AVFTT.
I come on here ,,as I still want pool to have a bright future ,,,just feel that Critchley is notbthe person to do that ,,,,Id like to go to a game that is playing good exciting football that is an enjoyment to watch ,,,when that starts happening , I will go to games ,,,I have been supporting Pool ,,since 1973 ,,,

Reading away was nearly 3 years ago and if that game didn’t encourage you to go back I don’t know what would.
2-0 down and won 3-2.
Critchley was highly regarded then and some good Southerly games like the 1-1 draw at Fulham
Poor excuse blaming Critchley .

Feels like a long time between now and the start of next season .

Wouldn’t have minded a couple of weeks or even a month but August just seems ages off.

My condolences. Mum’s are the best. So sorry for your loss. 😢

Sorry for your loss. It's the two year anniversary of my Dad passing on Tuesday. There isn't a day go by I don't think of him, but in a good way. Sure you'll do the same.

It feels an awful long time since the 'homecoming' game. On the row where I sit I think there will be a number of empty spaces next year.

I haven't missed it as the season is over and that's the point, you have the break and by the time it's done you're raring to go again, new signings, a season of promise ahead.

Always looking to improve as a team, if we do that well have a good season.

I always look forward to going and will be buzzing for the new season, but can switch off for a while over summer, enjoy other things and get right back on it when something is happening.

I don't think I'll ever get bored of it.

I miss it. I don’t care if you don’t

I miss it too. Really look forward to going to BFC matches and meeting up with pals beforehand.
