14mm rain leading up to kick off. Absolutely pishing it down.
He's on his way so I've been told. He'll make a decision at 6.58pm.Jimmy Floyd would be turning the bud round as we speak.
Hope so, then we can go.Worried now! Getting heavier!
Not another postponement?
Will be playing till June, so maybe some fans??
Exactly, There are too may wannabe Monty Dons on here who haven't got a clue how continuous heavy rain over months and then heavy rain before a match will cause the problems there are.Covers ?? They’re only for frost or snow and ice not rain.
I'm the same, I have been looking forward to the game all day but if it is postponed because of the rain, it's just that no ones fault.I dont know what you are getting so worked up about hertford not one person has moaned on this thread. We are all pissed off about missing the match.
Bearing in mind the time of Mac’s post it’s almost negligible if the covers haven’t been on to protect the pitch! If Mac can see what weather was on the way, surely the Groundsman should have taken the necessary action! Why wouldn't we have the covers on?
Were they on?I'm sure they are on. Come off at 5:30ish, so shouldn't be a problem I'd have thought.
But .... nobody else’s game is off yet and ours will be in all likelihood????Exactly, There are too may wannabe Monty Dons on here who haven't got a clue how continuous heavy rain over months and then heavy rain before a match will cause the problems there are.
I would normally expect to be working in peoples gardens in January and February most days but this year I have hardly worked outside at all because the ground is just too wet. It must be my fault then?? It's the ** shit weather!!!!
Would’ve thought they’d at least offer protection in areas that are prone to flooding? Were they on?
I didn't think the covers were used to keep rain off.
Doesn't look that. I just assumed.....Were they on?
I didn't think the covers were used to keep rain off.
Can't see any others as yet in the four leagues but they obviously leave it later now with no crowds. Just Woking v Dover in the conference, but I think Dover have bigger problems than rain and that one was already a goner before today.Jesus
Are we the only game off tonight
Thick as two short planks if that’s trueCannot believe the sprinklers were on this afternoon
