Are they stuck what to do?

I am privy to nowt so this is just message board chit chat but has Simon Sadler and the board gone up a cut-de-sac? Was Nathan Jones their trump card? Good offer and expecting him to say yes? Or has he not even had an offer and it's all gossip? If he did have an offer and wanted the weekend to think about it then now it's Tuesday afternoon and nothing, making me think he doesn't want it. Was there a lack of a plan B as they thought it was not going to be rejected? Or have they been speaking to various people from a shortlist they have drawn up. Was Heckingbottom lined up as a mate and shelved due to the total apathy from the supporters? Has Evo really been ignored and not heard from the club or has he actually been contacted and they are keeping schtum? Or have they just got no one they can agree on or particularly want at all?

At the moment out of those who are not managing another club there is Jones (doesn't want it), Heckingbottom (Not wanted) and Lobera (Made up and probably never in the frame), so that leaves managers or coaches who are in employment, not the best time to be approaching them as they come to the climax of the season but out of those who are realistic you have Ian Evatt, Ryan Lowe, Richie Wellens but all of those look like gaining promotion with their teams so Plymouth and Swindon will be in league 1 the same as us so will they want to come anyway? That leaves Evo, who will be in the Conference and will definitely want to progress his career.

I make no apologies for wanting Evo as our manager, so I may appear biased, but we need the feel good factor on the pitch to match that what is happening off it. A young, up and coming manager who has taken a team who were favourites for the drop to way ahead at the top of the league, by playing exciting football, who is a Blackpool legend, has oodles of passion and loves the club. I just cannot get my head around why they don't want to talk to him?

So, if not Evo, Jones or Heckingbottom, who the fuck else is there?

Who else there will be lots of people to be considered. Leave them to it and don’t panic, give them a bit of time to consider what is best for the club. In SS we trust.

You won’t listen will you 🤦🏻‍♂️ Give over will ya, the Evo thing has sailed ffs

Poor decision if it has as looks like Jones doesn't want it and the others aren't sounding great.

Maybe Sergio lobera would be good but hes unknown and untested here.

The only bit of semi-ITK info we have is from Alan Nixon and that's a day old now in answer to the question, "any news on Blackpool manager?"
Nixon tweeted,
"Depends how long wait on Jones"
So at the time of the tweet Nixon appeared to believe Jones hadn't given an answer.
This would be a big move for Jones so I would be expecting him to make sure he gets the right offer before saying yes.
After all the last Manager didn't last very long.

I like the idea of Evo, but it could be dangerous for him. He’s a legend and expectations for great, attacking football and success would be high. If it didn’t work, not only would his reputation in the wider game be ruined, but his legend status with us.

Our duty as fans right now is to randomly toss some names in to the mix with absolutely no inside knowledge, maybe it's someone local, maybe an ex player, maybe a controversial choice for those extra internet replies.

I've heard that Sadler is tapping up Steve McMahon Jnr with Aidy Forbes as number 2.

I’ve been told tonight Jones has 24 hours to accept or BM will be moving on in his search and “basically starting again”.

Nice one rekt. We start again with Evo to be the first to be revisited with just a little bit of swallowed pride on our part.

not sure that will ever happen now the stories come out that we haven’t considered him.

NJ apparently having trouble deciding, largely because of the Stoke debacle and the effect it’s had on him and his family.

Still could end up being Pool boss.

if not we re back to square one, with Evo out of the frame I fear. Could be a long process which “ they were trying to avoid by having jones in place the day after”.

If Jones doesn’t accept I’m slightly worried about who we get in, the time it takes and the damage done during that time on and off the pitch.

Does he want the job though rekt?

We targeted someone and he says no, big deal move on their are hundreds of out of work managers who have experience in the bottom three league's.
Advertise the job and their would be loads who apply.

What it shows that Grayson was well placed and his dismissal was clearly as a consequence of the momentum of pressure from the dreadful, abysmal performances and the knife was accelerated. SS is looking a bit exposed.

He can get lost if he has to think about it, we want someone who really wants the job, passionate about it, eager to start and make us great again

It's not just that simple, he has a family and may need to relocate...He may want to try and negotiate a severance arrangement with Stoke...So it's not necessarily just a case of him making a yes or no decision. I don't think he's been gone too long, just yet.

It's clearly going to be a tough decision for him so it's understandable that he will want to take his time.
Let's hope he's not that indecisive over team formation and selection if he does get the job.
Man up Nathan and make your mind up, you're Pep Guardiola.

Fingers crossed there's no reply from Nat Jones today and we can start a proper recruitment process. 🤓
