20 games left, probably on better pitches as the weather improves and several of our star players still to return........isnβt it good being a Seasider at the moment

No comment until I Phil underscore comes on.20 games left, probably on better pitches as the weather improves and several of our star players still to return........isnβt it good being a Seasider at the moment
Iβm sure he is mate You never know with the way the vaccine rollout is going we might be in for a promotion celebrationI have no doubt that if we were in the stadium for the remaining games we'd make automatic. As it is I'm still confident we'll make the playoffs
I hope SS is enjoying his investment.
Getting late in the season???? Thereβs still 20 games left mateI said at the top of this thread that this game would go some way to showing where we really are as a Club. Well, it is clear to me that we're hard to beat. We want to retain possession rather than be speculative in front of goal. We don't panic when things are looking bogged down. We look like the squad has gelled on and off the pitch.
Is that enough to get us up this season? I doubt it. Teams that look promotion-bound have the knack of scoring regularly. We don't look like that at present. Yes, we have players to return to contention but it's getting late in the season.
I think I'm looking at a team that will be on the verge of the play-offs - may even get there. But, I think our time will be next season.
PS. If we do go up I will happily eat my hat.
I love the fact he stays in the background and isn't a mouthpiece unlike his predecessors, but It'd be good to hear from himI

My fault. I've got my 'regular season' head on.Getting late in the season???? Thereβs still 20 games left mate
Wouldnβt it be good if the season was extendedMy fault. I've got my 'regular season' head on.
As mentioned above and in other threads, the whole team (and subs) seem to want to battle for each otherI love the way we now close games out, not the greatest performance but kept the
leagues 2nd highest scorers to very few chances, when we scored we just shut them
out and that's becoming a very good habit,
In fairness, I've not really seen us play on a really awful pitch yet this season. On better pitches as the weather improves and several of our star players still to return
Wigan a couple of weeks ago was awfulIn fairness, I've not really seen us play on a really awful pitch yet this season.
Caution Lofty. It's not so long ago that we looked all at sea in defence against Ipswich. Things look better at the mo. Even so, let's keep a lid on it.Top six is nailed on
9/1 last night on Sky bet.If we get four points or more from Doncaster and Charlton, added to yesterday that puts in tremendous shape for the next five games, look at the fixtures four of which are at home to Crewe Wimbledon Fleetwood and Burton with MK Don's away in the middle of them.
Its happening lads. Get on. Still 7/1 for Promotion
I agree mate20 games left, probably on better pitches as the weather improves and several of our star players still to return........isnβt it good being a Seasider at the moment
Simon has certainly backed us and Critch financially......onwards and upwardsI agree mate
We are so lucky to have an owner who will back the manager and help cover up his mistakes
I don't think any other club in our league could sign Championship players like Dougall and Stewart after the season has started

Wigan, Hull for starters. Accrington wasnt greatIn fairness, I've not really seen us play on a really awful pitch yet this season.
That Accrington pitch is an embarrassment. Iβm glad we have already played those tin pot East Lancashire nobodys awayAccrington's home results seem to be getting affected now by their poor pitch. 2 draws and a loss in their last 3 home games. Teams know how they will have to play due to the conditions narrowing down options.
Are you not a Critchley fan then?I agree mate
