Are you a true Blackpool fan?

Three stitches by my eye, Pompey at home 79.
Fractured nose Pre-season away at dumpdale, coppers leather glove fist.
True Seasider

I consider myself a Blackpool fan, not sure what level constitutes ‘true’ though.
There are plenty of folk on here that are more religious about it than me, been to more games, more grounds, absolutely fanatical, and hats off to them.
But if anyone tells me that I’m not a ‘true’ Blackpool fan because I don’t know what year Scott Darton was born, they’ll be told to f-off.

I gave up at ‘To take your mind off the current season’

Anyone who thinks in terms of fans and ‘true’ fans is a bit of a wanker

It has John Murphy playing around 130 games and Del Boy playing over 200, I would have thought they would have been the opposite way around. But I'm not a fan obviously. It's a damned stupid quiz.

42%. Think I got everything that was name a club rather than pick a random number, apart from knowing where ranger now plays. So probably 5% in terms of only the questions actually related to blackpool, by knowing keigan was scottish.

Impressively bad quiz though, deserves credit in a strange way. It's difficult to go to the effort of putting 20 questions together and the outcome be so terrible!

What questions got rejected?

How many miles did Kevin Phillips drive on his commute to and from Blackpool whilst at the club?

How many days was it between Dave Bamber's first appearance and last appearance for the club?

How many touches did Simon Lynch have during his loan spell at the club?

What type of milk does Marlon Harewood have on his cornflakes?

Got 7 from 19...but frankly there were only three I actually knew.
Did it purely for fun as I wait for my other half to finish showering before my go😀
The worst thing about the quiz is there were question about people that hardly played for us and certainly weren’t legends and in fact we’re probably the complete opposite.
No problem with Brett,Murph’s( who happen to be on my aviator or whatever it’s called..see to your left as you look at it) or the Fonz.AM,KP but some of the others Jeez!! hardly effing legends were they and at least one I‘ve no recollection of.

oh and she’s still in the shower...no out she’s comes so bath time😉😉

I consider myself a huge Pool fan, home and away for more than 35 years.

But do I know when Chris Long was born.....ermmmmm

You need two bathrooms...

Will Plumbs be taking part on this thread?🙂
I saw Charlie Adam's finest hour in a tangerine shirt at Middlesbrough when the Seasiders went up,and theres one or two regular posters on here who cant say that 😉

Btw-did anyone 'top and tail' in the PL promotion season? By that I mean went to Burscough for the first friendly then finished with the POF win over Cardiff. If I recall correctly Real BASIL ran a train with BSA that day 😃

So if I don't know exactly how many games Armand played for us I'm not a true Blackpool fan according to that. What a terrible quiz.

Nailed it🤪🤗😁

Guess it was meant as a bit of fun, I've not even bothered with it. A true fan is simply when it's the team you support, whether you go home & away, just home or when you can/want, its immaterial. I would add some who did go to all the games are very keen or it's just higher up on their list of entertainment/leisure priority's, we're all true fans though.
