Are you refusing the vaccine?

if it’s for medical reasons I understand

if it’s a personal choice are you happy to share why?

I ain’t judging btw because I’m a libertarian and believe in free choice, I’m just interested

Refusing is a strong word as it ain't compulsory but I know a few(pensioners)who have turned down the offer and they all reckon it's not been tested on enough.

Me I haven't been invited yet too young(cough). 😁

There will be lots of venues where if we want to go will need to prove we’re vaccinated such as concerts and festivals and holidays abroad.maybe cinemas and theatres too
And what you going to do with all the under 18's who up to now are not going to be vaccinated leave them at home and not allow them into venue's?

Not tested enough? There's 18 million out there who have had it and none have died.
Not true. People have died.

On whether it's been tested enough, it is still in Phase 3 trials and only approved for emergency use.

It's exactly these kinds of confidently asserted but completely bullshido comments that I hear a million times a day.

Much better to ignore and crack on but I just can't help myself 😔

You will probably not get in most (maybe all) places then and don’t expect to fly 👍
I’ll be vaccinated so I’ll “be able” to do the same as anyone else. I’ll be choosing not to go in any venue that even asks about my vaccine status..

Couldn’t care less about flying... a) I hate it and b) I love the U.K.

I doubt I will ever be able to buy you a pint then - which would be a genuine shame 👍

I have flown, I’m just not that arsed about being outside the U.K... I’d rather camp in a muddy field in Devon than sit on a beach in Barbados etc...

I very much doubt many U.K. venues will require a vaccine passport, but if they do then I’ll just go elsewhere...In all honesty I’ll probably be avoiding most crowded places regardless for a while in any case...

I’m sure we’ll get round to a pint at some point in the future though 🍻

So in this case it`s not primarily about individual liberty first and foremost it`s about safety for all who want to mix together in groups of any size and unless people wish to continue to remain fairly isolated they`ll probably need a vaccination passport in the interests of all those around them and rightly so. Hopefully this will persuade the misguided sceptics to get the vaccination.

I'm asking for it in both arms to be sure 👍

At 48, I'm still waiting for my chance.

The good news for me personally is all the people in my family who are at a greater risk have had their first jab.

So far from my 95 year old Grandma to my 30 year old niece haven't had any sort of major reaction.

Nor do they appear to have a been taken over Microsoft Windows 21

Well my son manages one and they won't unless compulsory, pubs open(should) in May half the under 50's won't have had the vaccine by then so when are these checks to start maybe October when we've all had two jabs?
It ain't happening.
Public demand will probably dictate whether it happens or not - we will see 👍

I’ll have it when I get the nod, been having flu jab for last 15 years and previously had pneumonia jab so why not👍🏻
Dont really get why anybody wouldn’t want to have it, but hey it’s personal choice.

They have been saying in the news tonight they’re thinking about care and social staff who don’t take the vaccine will be no job if no jab and the residents of care/nursing homes could be made to have the jab if they want or need to live in residential care/nursing homes
I agree fully with care and social staff having to be vaccinated so they’re not putting other patients lives at risk thru covid

I'll have the jab but I'm not signing up for a covid passport to go into a pub or a football stadium, waste of time, effort and money.
Get jabbed and get back to normal.

Yes, because what this country needs right now is fewer carers.

I’m having it.
As it stands both my daughters are refusing due lack of long term effects known. They have concerns around it affecting fertility or other long term health issues.
I’ve discussed with them but at the same time I can’t give them those kind of medical assurances so I have to respect their choice.
My daughter is too. Same reason, hopefully they will have more facts soon.

I with you about holidays. I also think pubs are a bit overrated I've just bought myself a perfect draft beer machine so I've got pub quality beer to drink in my own home without having to listen to a load of bores sat at the bar.
