Are the club inflating them? I think they are counting all the season tickets whether they turn up or not as I don't think there was 11,000 there yesterday

I presume it's pretty standard to count st holders at clubs, as its a seat sold that cannot be bought.

On the planner pre game, there looked just under 10k home fans in the 3 stands and then in hospitality there looked a few hundred too so just over 10k home fans was about right.

Obviously there were gaps in some places where it was completely sold out but that happens if people can't make it or have covid etc.

So they must count them, but not usual to do so.

From my perspective, our attendances have, with the exception of night games as well as PNE & Rovers, been fairly flat. The main differences in attendances are largely down to how many the away side bring.

Home support is pretty steady, it doesn't really change much. There are a block of a dozen seats directly behind us that are usually empty or have two or three people in them, they've only been fully sold for the Nobbers match.

Every club does it, you can't sell those tickets to anyone else. In fact we were one of the last clubs to actually do it.
