New contract signed with Palace and sent on loan for the season at St Pauli.

I always liked him, thought he had something about him. Surprised he’s not playing higher up.Talking of Crystal Palace midfielders with links to us, Nya Kirby has joined Oxford City in the National League. Hasn't happened for him since he finished his loan with us.
Injuries perhaps?I always liked him, thought he had something about him. Surprised he’s not playing higher up.
That was sunk weeks ago. Unless the club can find another £300K, it is dead in the water.I wonder how long it will be for the Moxon deal to go under.
I don't think that deal was ever on. I'm sure we made a bid but looks like it was never a goer, ultimately another Nixon red herring.I wonder how long it will be for the Moxon deal to go under.
Just been reading their fans' reaction on their message board and they are questioning why they have taken on a young player from England who has only played in the 4th tier here, so nowhere near their equivalent 2nd tier in Germany, who apparently has defensive issues to work on and has just extended his contract with Crystal Palace beyond the end of the loan period so not like he would be free to sign for them afterwards if he does end up a success.St. Pauli is a huge move for him, they’ll be expecting to compete for promotion to the Bundesliga.
Just another example of Nixon being a surrogate for agents.
He doesn’t have any actual sources at clubs, only agents who feed him information to get his clients better deals.
He first reported Stockport were interested and that he was available, then we came in, then Blackburn, then finally St. Pauli.
He’s less of a reporter and more of a prostitute to agents.
Or PFA prostitute for agentsSt. Pauli is a huge move for him, they’ll be expecting to compete for promotion to the Bundesliga.

Yeah doesn’t make any sense at all; foreign country, much higher standard than he’s used to, with massive expectations. What could go wrong?Just been reading their fans' reaction on their message board and they are questioning why they have taken on a young player from England who has only played in the 4th tier here, so nowhere near their equivalent 2nd tier in Germany, who apparently has defensive issues to work on and has just extended his contract with Crystal Palace beyond the end of the loan period so not like he would be free to sign for them afterwards if he does end up a success.
We’ll have 2 more incomings that are of the caliber of the Norburn/Pennington signings I’m certain of it.All gone quiet on the incomings for us, be good to carry on the momentum
I'm not so sure, he sounds very much like he wants more. The fact we've been linked with £500K (Banks) and £250K (Moxon) bids suggests we very much want more permanent signings.I’ve a feeling that we’ve bought what we want already.
Critch is waiting for Prem (championship) clubs to leak to squad players that they’re not going to get much 1st team action and therefore can go out on loan.
That ‘open season’ should start this weekend.
I used to live around the corner from their ground. My time there in 2001 coincided with their first promotion to the top flight in many, many years and they had a massive party with tens of thousands of fans on the land next to their ground called Heiligengeistfeld. What an experience that was! These are two fantastic reads about St Pauli, such a different club

From the publisher: FC Sankt Pauli – the football club in the red-light district of Hamburg; a transvestite chairman; terraces populated by punks, pimps and prostitutes; a club run by anarchists, united under the skull and crossbones flag. We've played 1 league game, we've actually played 45 minutes of 1 league game the 2nd 45 minutes was garbageWe have momentum in the league and the squad as a whole is very strong so additions aren’t needed immediately.
Loans come cheaper?I'm not so sure, he sounds very much like he wants more. The fact we've been linked with £500K (Banks) and £250K (Moxon) bids suggests we very much want more permanent signings.
I'm sure we'll get a loan or 2 in but for me they are very short term and don't really fit with the model of the club. If we can't find the players we want permanently and they are better than we would otherwise be able to sign, they are a useful option. I don't want a team that is underpinned by 4 or 5 loans however.Loans come cheaper?
A. we don’t pay all their salary.
B. Any problem, send them back without paying them off.
C. Clubs like citeh hoover up a lot of promising starlets but can’t play them all, all of the time. On the other hand, we are a “developing” club where opportunities can be had.
On point B. you'd still be liable for the wages until the end of the agreed loan.Loans come cheaper?
