Barnet - it could've been worse, apparently.

Won £80 on Barnet to go down at 4/1 odds with just 4 games remaining.
They were sinking like a stone and still had to face an in form Pool.
We won 3-2.
Karma all round

The 7.0 was weird i remember leaving with about 10 mins to go wondering how we let 7 in

Everything they hit seemed to go in that day

This can't be correct. It has been stated many times on this board that we took at least 4000 to Barnet and yet the Gazette states 500.....!? If I didn't know better I'd think that not everything I read on here is 100% true..

So the players rating varied between 4 and 6 (so average) for a 7-0 defeat. Just how bad does it have to get to get a 1 or 2 rating?
In all honesty we could have been winning at half time.

I said straight after the game that we'd be fine and Barnet would struggle. It was Tony Cottee's first game in charge and he was gone by the end of the season.

This was on 606 with Adrian Chiles as we were stuck in traffic on the M1.

Yeah Phil is still there in the queue to leave. First in last out....

That is exactly what I was thinking… You look at that team and it should not be beaten that heavily…many of them started at Cardiff a few months later! I also look and think, what if we pull a goal back rather than see their keeper make a wonder save.

Did the 500 get their money back from the players?
