Looked a good player when he came on with some decent touches, didn't realise he was that tall and he knows how to put himself about! Good debut
Totally agreeLooked a good player when he came on with some decent touches, didn't realise he was that tall and he knows how to put himself about! Good debut
Looked more confident than when he was on loan. Small thing but even doing his warm up he looked focused.Dale looked ok
YES! totally. Murphs before his back went.John Murphy anyone?
“He had a great game but once he slips up my opinion will be right”First lesson as a Blackpool fan : Never judge a player on their debut.
Some of them play like world beaters on their debut.
But many are playing on a adrenaline rush of a fresh start, new manager etc..
I've seen dozens of great Blackpool debutee appearances over the decades, who fans judged as top class signings on their 1st appearance, only to disappoint later on .
Judge them after at least a dozen appearances.
More athletic than JM.John Murphy anyone?
Gary is faster than Jerry. FactamundoHe should be able to help the pressing game too, Madine is very good at what he does but his weakness is he lacks pace and the pressing isn't as snappy, if Beesley can be a target man, add pace, presence and goals he could be a very useful option.
Nooo, speed off the mark Jerry is miles faster.Gary is faster than Jerry. Factamundo
For me they looked what they are: wanting to impress but a bit off the pace and not yet comfortable with their team mates. That will improve but it has to be done carefully.First lesson as a Blackpool fan : Never judge a player on their debut.

Doesn't count when coming back from 18 months out though when you see how some of our fans react.First lesson as a Blackpool fan : Never judge a player on their debut.

Don't you dare write off Gary ..He should be able to help the pressing game too, Madine is very good at what he does but his weakness is he lacks pace and the pressing isn't as snappy, if Beesley can be a target man, add pace, presence and goals he could be a very useful option.
As much as I like Murphs I think he'll be too old nowJohn Murphy anyone?
Not writing him off, as you well know, just assessing the strengths and weaknesses.Don't you dare write off Gary ..
Thought he looked tidy and nippy on the ball. What did you think? Was most impressed by Dale I think... maybe most surprised is more accurate
Yeah he looked full of confidence, turned and took a few players out of the game a couple of times, looked like he had a pass on him as well. Hoping now he's a full time employee that we will start to see him at his best! But the way that CJ is proving his critics wrong I'm not sure he will get much of a look in!Thought he looked tidy and nippy on the ball. What did you think?
