Best Plane Spotting Ground in the League?

Just thinking about Stockport County, which is right on the Manchester Airport flight path, any better plane spotting grounds in the country?

Griffin Park was undoubtedly the best. Didn't they have a Fly KLM ad on the roof of one stand? Apologies if I've got the wrong airline.

Solihull Moors.

When we played them in the televised cup game, there was an aerial shot of the ground prior to the game starting.
That looked within spitting distance to Birmingham airport.

We agree with you. Our Seasider daughter lives in Reddish (near to Edgley) and you can almost touch the planes as they pass over.

Remember going to Stockport around 1998 when we had Jonathon Douglas and Neil Danns on loan from Blackburn and being shocked at how close the planes were.

Alternatively flying into Heathrow, you could ask, 'best grounds spotted from plane?' Coming back from Cyprus last month (sitting on the right hand side); West Ham, Millwall, Emirates, Chelsea, Fulham and the new Brentford ground.

PS: The old Doncaster ground used to be good with an airfield behind the away end.

Wembley too.

As Realfish said :Belle Vue, Donnie's old ground, had a small airfield which backed onto the away terrace. Had hours of fun watching the planes rather than the Snodin brothers dismantling Argyle's defence.
