Saw them at the Ritz in Manchester about 10 years ago - they were awful. Which is kinda the point in a way. MES was a national treasure...

By the time Code Selfish came out I had a fuck off stezza Free Range, 2nd track on the album, sounded fantastic and was often played whilst getting ready to go out and av it.

So that for me but as Spudgun says where do you start with The Fall, quite simply one of the best bands ever MES was a genius.
