BFC fixtures 22/23 thread.

Nobbers at home, Friday night curtain raiser first game of the Championship season 🙏🏻

Can’t wait till 9am. So exciting this
Should be taking the dog to the kennels at 9am as we have a wedding to attend tomorrow but kennels can wait haha not missing the fixture release for anyone

Had a quick scan - away from 20/08 and not back until early September so miss Rovers and Dingles.

BUT there's a few games at BR which will set the away fans salivating - expect some decent attendances in the early part of the season through until the end of the illuminations.

Sunderland at home on New Year's day will be a great atmosphere. I'm happy with this, could have been alot worse and at least we know exactly how Reading will play on the opening day, Tom on corners, free kicks, throw in, all play has to go through Tom.

fallen fairly kindly for me. Miss M/Boro, Burnley and QPR at home and Rotherham, Bristol C and Millwall away.

Cardiff at Home Good Friday is a decent fixture as well.
Crap journey at Eastertime for the Cardiff fans.
And we've got a trip to sodding Luton on Easter Monday.

But at least the local derbies are well spaced out through the season.
And Norwich away on the final day, a great place for the end of season party - and the title decider 😉

Every team is going to need a quick start - virtually a quarter of the fixtures are in the first 7 weeks.

Happy with opening game. Think Appy will be happy. Sun out, Lancs at SP later and top of league what is there not to be happy about😎

Probably not so happy if you are a Southern Exile but I knew what was coming

However seeing the fixture list really brought home how Northern dominated this league is.

QPR and Millwall away are the only games within less than one hundred miles of me in the first 21 rounds before the World Cup..

and Reading Luton and Watford the only other ones overall.

There are nearly as many away games as that in Lancashire (old money)….very jealous

I see we’re at home first against the Nobbers.
Need to seriously think about what ticket allocation we’re giving them.
There’s no point giving them the same amount of tickets as last season then moaning about it on here when they give us the same allocation for Sleepdale.

We won't get more, we will probably just give them the normal away end again.

But it would be funny to give 10%

Hopefully the police sort themselves out and we can sell more of the East to pool fans.

Looks an exciting season ahead, Reading first up can we all start practising ‘His eyes are offiside, his eyes are off side Paul Ince his eyes are offside

Not sure I agree, I think if we give them more we’ll end up getting more at their place.
No change for them then no change for us.

Living in Somerset only "Local game" this year is Cardiff 17th Dec, Swansea, Reading and Bristol City next year!!

Unless the clubs do some sort of guarantee but I doubt it

They will want the kop open to home fans so we'll get roughly the same I'd imagine.

We can sell the east to home fans if allowed.

The issue is since that game, away fans now leave past the north, so they need to come up with something.

They will have to keep the nobbers behind, we know they can now.
