Personally, I feel sorry for the man. Any 79 year old who falls three times while boarding a plane is clearly suffering and deserves some sympathy.

You do all know that the President usually voted as the greatest was confined to a wheelchair? JFK had Addison's Disease as well as whole host of documented illnesses? Eisenhower had a heart attack in office, suffered from Crohns and also had a stroke? Woodrow Wilson was another who had a stroke in office? Reagan had begun to show signs of Alzheimer's during his second term in office (not officially documented but confirmed by his son)?

Despite this, these are usually ranked in the top ten of the most successful presidents. If age is the only thing the right wing have to attack Biden with they really are grasping at straws.

If we pop back to these shores, Churchill, the right wing idol, also had a stroke, quite a few bouts of pneumonia, was a heavy smoker and a self confessed alcoholic.

I don't think it's a coincidence that since we started obsessing over our politicians' image the standard has dropped considerably.

I’m not sure you need qualifications to recognise the signs of cognitive impairment if you’ve had a relative end up in a dementia care home. But you’re welcome anyhow.
