Birmingham v Blackpool Official Matchday Thread 27.11.21

Similar records not much in it. Pool have scored a few more so may have enough to outgun the Blues though
1-2 Lavery and Bowler

We could do with a win, some very winnable games coming up but it would be very Blackpool to lose so I'm going 2-1.

We win tomorrow 2-1. Some hard fought performances against some good sides recently without the rewards got a good feeling we get it tomorrow. Sound like they have a depleted squad at the moment injuries/suspensions. Lavery to get both.

Hopefully Shane back up to speed, think we will go with two up top, Madine and Lavery for me and with a bit more from the wide areas, particularly the right we can do damage. As I've thought watching us for a while now we just lack a final ball at times, our set pieces have got a lot better though. 2-0 win for me but we all know football is anything but predictable. As regards team selection nobody can guess what team NC will put out, that also goes for the opposition.

I don't thing Luton and Derby are very winnable, Derby look a good side from the results they have had, Luton are a good team at this level. Huddersfield also will be difficult. But I get your point.

I’d guesstimate 66/1 I’ll take a full English pound at 100/1 if your offering 50s 😃🍊
I`ve just checked his stats Hazi, in 198 totalv career appearances I don`t think he has ever scored a hat trick so maybe 200/1 might be reasonable but anyway I`ve never fancied being a bookie myself I prefer to take them on but not with Jerry Yates.

I`m not even sure Critchley will pick him he seems to have doubts about him, understandably.

Got to admit, I know very little about Birmingham, is Lee Bowyer the manager?, think he is. Anyway, wouldn't rate him much as a manager, horrible little pitbull of a man in my mind though admittedly i remember him mostly for the nightclub attack and fighting with his own team-mates. Really useful player, mind, especially with Leeds on those European runs they had.

Feel like we're at a point where if everything clicks we're capable of beating teams regardless of what they do, we're due one of those performances. Don't think Birmingham are all that (Have you seen Troy Deeney lately?, ma'done, vs our Marv?) 3-1 pool.

A point away from home is never a bad thing, especially as we’re learning our trade in this highly paced division.

Saying that, for some reason I don’t see a draw today, will go either one way or the other. I’m willing Pool to nick it. Keshi to continue his good run.

Currently with sky Bet it's 150/1 but I'd expect that to be 200/1 prior to KO. If jerry starts I reckon he will at least get a brace, with all their injuries we need to go for 3pts today.. ideal time to play em

Feel like we will get something today, either a draw or a win. Could really do with getting back to winning ways. If Husband does not feature wonder who Critch will pick.

Another surprising line up, Wintle, Lavery, Gabriel and Yates on the bench. I guess it should only be surprising when Critch picks a line up that most people predict.

Another surprise line up, Yates must be fed up of getting splinters, no Wintle or Gabriel either. It will be interesting to see how Dale does with Madine, didn't see those changes coming at all
