Blackpool v Bristol City Official Matchday Thread 05.02.21

Madine gets a tap in anyone would score and deluded people creaming themselves .What about the 3 times in a row we just got in great positions to score and the carthorse mucked them all up .Is that why Ihe just feigned a injury

All this without Maxwell, Ekpiteta, Stewart, Carey, Keshi and Lavery.

This squad could be a proper force next season.
We look a force now and other teams will start to set up more solidly against us. Which will help us control games more. Fingers crossed momentum will carry us somewhere special what with the massive boost of Bowler staying and CJ looking like a player at this level.

From the text commentary it sounds like we’re backing off, I always hate that, I know we’re 3-0 up, but they score and nerves set in, just punish them.

Relax, we're in charge qland will see this home.

Bit lucky from Madine there. Glad no-one other than yes got suckered into that.

O/T but I've just flicked over to Morecambe v Bolton and they're still playing... apparently the ref took the players off because of crowd trouble!!

Pretty comfortable but we were a bit all over the place for the last 20 minutes.

Man of match CJ with Bowler and Dougall just behind him. Great performance from Gary Madine too. Keogh looks a good captain. Thorniley slotted in brilliantly, it's great to have him back. I hope Dale hasn't got a knock because he looked decent once he had run it off.

Well done Pool, that's 10 points from the last 4 games, let's get 3 points at Coventry. 40 points, 20 off the bottom 3 and 5 off 6th place, surely no one is worried about relegation now?

great performance, king kenny was awesome today, he was everywhere and the pass (and it wasa pass not just a hoof) to bowler was amazing. lost some shape with the subs but theres three players still aclimatising.

defensively thought we looked a bit ropey today, bristol were dangerous on the break and keogh and thorniley were both caught quite a few times hopefully marv is back for tuesday.

Probably the worst ref ive seen this season, blew up at entirely random times, and then completely lost control of the game.

Memories of 1978 are nearly banished now. 3 points at Cov and I'll stop looking down the table

Interesting how we all see things differently. Thought the ref was ok today, not really his fault things boiled over - Bristol lost control because they were losing, ha ha - good to see them upset, shame ;) Think big Gary got out of bed the wrong side this morning too 🤣🤣
