Last time I saw us play Cardiff at Bloomfield Road was 14 Aug 2021 in our championship return. Lost 2-0

Let’s hope it’s not more of the same Saturday, as that day back in 2021 they looked a class above
 
They are having a little wobble at the moment despite them beating Wrexham in the cup, could be a good time to face them.
 
I guess it will be a midfield 3 of Brown and Honeyman with Bowler in front in an attacking creative role and a front 3? Fletch with Banks and Bloxham? That would mean a back 4, if he plays a back 5 with wingbacks I'm not sure who would play up front
 
No reason we can't win, 2 weeks for Evatt to work on the lads and this is a low scoring Cardiff team away from goals. Evatt's working on the "easy wins" like being better at set peices see us win this 2-0.
 
Sounds like he’s studied the hell out of every bit of their game and has had a good amount of time to sink messages into the squad. Expecting a good game at very least
 
Over 100 years since we first played Cardiff at home.. record is 24 home wins seven losses and six draw.. Which would say we have a pretty good record.. Its a similar record for Cardiff away.

Casey was talking about being in a back 3 in his interview, and Evatt was saying it was good to get Coulson back so will be interesting to see what happens.
 
They have not scored or conceded many away from home. Looking for continued signs of improvement. Hope we can give them a good game and come out with something positive.

Evans will be playing surely on current good form.

I’m intrigued to see Ihiekwe, Horsfall and Casey on at the same time.
