Blackpool v West Brom Official FA Cup Matchday Thread 09.01.21

Should have won it in normal time, soft goals given away.

We have 2 great moves to score, they get a header from a corner that shouldn't have happened and a pen from a daft handball.

Prem or not got to do better in those moments.

Put a bet on Blackpool to win on Coral. Would that come in even if we win in ET or pens?
Depends if it said Full Time result - if it does then usually that means within 90 mins. I've got us to win on an accy but mine was full time result so the 6 fold is stuffed. My 5 fold is still on though!

Happy enough with that display. All said and done WBA are still a Prem side and even their 2nd eleven should be good enough. They've shaded it in terms of all match stats apart from the one that matters.
Both our goals have been good quality counter attacks. WBA's have been as a result of sloppy defending at a needless corner & a very avoidable penalty.
Pendulum has swung their way.......

Dan Gretarsson looks like he's got a bust nose. Ekpiteta coming on for Ballard though for extra time.

Dont care who I upset...

Turton is nowhere near good enough for a side with aspirations to go up

Lubala was abysmal apart from his assist

Ward was fantastic...Madine superb

Use of subs again very very poor...they brought 4 on to rescue the game...should have been Virtue earlier (he has done well) and Kai kai much earlier...kemp wasnt great and Lubala was very very poor bar his assist

Definitely a penalty. Turton's arm up and away from his body.
Decent 90 mins from Pool.
Seen enough of Kemp to say send him back. Lubala one good cross, but he's way off being first team material.
Well taken goal by Madine. Yates is hit and miss. Ward busy and decent throughout. Reasonably resolute in defence and m /f. Still lack of real creativity in midfield and real firepower up front.
