Just found both legs on YouTube.

1st Leg:
Don't remember them having a player sent off, although we were the better team on the day it was disappointing to only manage a 1-1 draw.

I remember they had some fat lad in the stands to our right who the Blackpool fans took the piss out of and it was winding him up.

2nd Leg:
Away goals counted back then. Remember clock watching for most of the game, a Scunthorpe equaliser would have taken them to Wembley on away goals.

Great days back then.

Home game started with a minutes silence for Morty. Went to both legs and both games were close and really enjoyable. Those were the days

Bizarre watching that as at time I had finished college and was working in majorca.. me and my mate left our pub jobs to watch pool at Wembley as at 20 we were so excited to watch pool at Wembley.

The rest is history and we never went back and got jobs here.. now have families and life's that we love. However if our beloved BFC has never won that scunny game we would not have left majorca and our life's would have been so different. Funny old world
