Scott BanksAccording to Nixon! Anyone know which player he is alluding to ?
You know him well then? He might well be brilliant, and I hope he is but I'm fed up of our fans pretending to know who a lot of these players are, who have never really impacted the football league.Scott Banks would be a terrific signing. More of a number 10 but a very talented player.
He was excellent at Bradford last season, I saw him a few times, most notably against Carlisle in the play offs. I wouldn't say I know him well but you only need to see someone a few times to see they have ability. Have a read of some of the Bradford fans comments, they absolutely love him.You know him well then? Do we even have any idea what the bid is?Palace fans seem to think that's way too low of a bid for it to happen
I'd rather read people's opinions on players I don't know than threads suggesting we should sign Ross Barkley and Troy Deeney. You know him well then? £500,000Do we even have any idea what the bid is?
Because Forest would laugh at us, the player wouldn't drop down to L1, and we can't afford to pay him £20,000 p/w.Why not bid 500k for Bowler back?
For a 22 y/o who spent last season in L2?Palace fans seem to think that's way too low of a bid for it to happen
Because they've heard of players who haven't played for us before. Why not bid 500k for Bowler back?
Think Palace fans are so used to talking about prem figures that they forget what it's like in the lower leagues. One of them just said they shouldn't get less than £2m for him. Completely out of touch with reality.I love all these fans who claim their players are worth millions and laugh at our offers, for players who have never played above league two, and in this case has 57 first team appearances to his name. It's nonsense. £500k is a very decent offer, and I expect CPFC will think so too as long as there is a good sell on clause. It means they could eventually make a seven figure profit on a player that's never played for them.
