Both clubs selling early bird already for next season. Bolton's look pretty cheap. Anything from £250 to £300 ish for existing.
Anyone else think we should be selling ours now?

The only people buying them now would be that 1000 or so hardy folk (some would use the word mushroom at this point but I've moved on!) who buy season in, season out and so little point. Let's try and build up some steam at the end of the season as I have to say based on this season I'd expect around 20% not to renew unless the offer is really good.

Not necessarily there’ll be people who for one reason or another just suddenly find themselves flush and decide to treat themselves. Only selling them over a short period runs risks you only need an unexpected bill and that’s the first non essential item ditched. Just get them on sale asap and get them publicised

Lots of clubs already got next seasons tickets on sale. Blackpool always seem to be later than most for some reason

Selling them early whilst still a chance of promotion makes perfect sense to me as it negates a chance of any future price increase

Bolton's deal last for three weeks and ends 13th April then reverts to full price 379-479.
Good idea when you've over 16k ST holders not so with our numbers and the lost revenue incurred.

Do it soon or near the end of the season it could go well if things are going well, but also we could be going nowehere afyer 1 game and people disgruntled.

It's also probably more affordable in the off season rather than now.

You've then got signings arriving etc, a new season buzz after people have either got over a poor or average season or are buzzing after a good one.

The main thing for me is getting the price right or as our new CEO discussed with someone off here, doing some sort of a deal like if we sell 10k or whatever it is, everyone pays the cheaper price, which he seemed open to having implemented it at Huddersfield.

It's also important to cover 2 paydays with the window which we pretty much did last time.

All things that help and add up.

Is that for them or us! I think our season ticket arrangements, ideas, promotions and incentives have been one of the worst aspects of Sadler's regime tbh.

Didnt @koudo bring season ticket target sales up with Julian Winters at the last SD meeting and he said they would look at it . I liked the idea of the more tickets you sell the cheaper it gets ,and we need to bring a better payment plan in not one that incurs hefty payment charges just because you are unfortunate to be able to afford to buy a ticket in one transaction.

Am not sure what more they can do in terms of ideas and promotions. They fix a price and effectively do or die from that. No amount of flashy ads or promos will change the price.

The low price strategies, marketing etc have been discussed before and even mentioned by the CEO, but ultimately too it helps if people feel fully connected with the manager and team.

Creating a buzz and getting fans excited comes from the club, manager appointment, squad, style etc.

SS seems to have struggled in this regard, going back to unpopular people and you'll never generate the sort of buzz required that way, unless they're really successful but that would be later in the season or the following season.

When appointing a manager a fresh start with a promising up and coming candidate is really what's needed if you want to get everyone on board.

It is what it is now, we need a strong end to the season and signs of progression, ideally playoffs which was the minimum goal, unless we are looking much improved some aren't going to be hugely excited to buy a ST under NC and the type of football and tactics we've witnessed at times.

Obviously a bit of time out over the summer, some quality signings can change that mood but ultimately people have seen what NC can offer and it's not going to get people excited unless we end strong, even then probably not as much as a new guy unless we go up.

A lot rests on these last games, if he can get us to show some consistency and an actual style, unlike oir last away game which was aimless for large parts.
