I agree, can't see it getting him fired up.
Needs to be short and punchy, maybe sing the same song as the Danny Grimshaw one on Saturday.

I think we've made the mistake of having two verses, seems other clubs only utilise the one which makes it much easier to catch on. When I watched the Middlesbrough game I had 'Boro commentators and when the player scored who they chant about with the "She's Electric" one, they were going "and its THAT chant", seems a fan favourite but ours just can't catch on.

Saw someone suggest on twitter to reduce it to one verse, as you can see with other clubs it allows it to build much more momentum that way and its easier for everyone to remember the words. Sounds better when its ended with the players name as well IMO, not a fan of the line "and he scores for the 'Pool".

The lads who try get it going should persevere with a 10 minute Josh Bowler epic, people might pick up the words that way. Seems to die off after two go arounds and another chant starts, by that time no one has quite cottoned onto the words. Or maybe people just don't like it, but as we can see with other clubs its a good'un and would be decent if it caught on
