In the last two games, Josh has been completely anonymous in the first half. Indeed he was a liability. We have seen what he can do when he gets involved, but how can they get him to perform from the off ?

You think he was anonymous first half against Millwall?

Think we've been slow starts generally this season so seems odd to single out Bowler.

Good player but should have passed to Keshi when on in 2nd half, First half pass to Yates not good enough.

He's going to drag more players to him now teams identify his threat, hope he can set up others around him ?

Fair comment from the last poster before this one. We all see it differently. It doesn’t make any of us either idiots or knowledgeable. It merely means that see it differently, and that is no reason keyboard abuse from anyone who……er, sees it differently.

Why not crucify him whilst you're at it?
The lad scored a worldy and had a great go at another, made good runs, helped out in defence, but no, you want to pick him apart.

Jeez- o!

Bowler is a gem and unpredictable and long may it continue — when he is running with the ball glued to his feet we are all out of our seats. The excitement he brings is absolutely top draw and with defenders backing off him in the penalty area they are scared to tackle. Give him a bit of slack and leave him to terrorise defenders. I am sure Critch will coach what he needs too and at the end of the day let him play with this freedom. Once again top marks to the scouting team you have discovered another LEGEND!!!

A wonderfully confident and direct 22 year old forward no where near the finished article playing for one of the best coaches around . Think we all know where this is going . My main concern is his short contract which hopefully will be extended before he attracts too much attention. I can’t wait to see how he develops. Exciting times .

His runs are reminiscent of Tommy Hutchison ,however Hutch's dribbling skills were mainly confined the the wing. I don't think Josh is doing too badly to be compared at his age(even by me) If he can improve his final distribution, shot and composure he will be a formidable player.
Brilliant goal on Saturday Josh. Keep it up, and us all excited.

I remember “Hutch” very well. When he was on form…….
I’ve already said this but I’m happy to repeat it:
Bowler is the Grealish of this league!!!

When he first signed he said he liked to go at defenders and get the fans off their seats.
He's been true to his word there and I think that sort of player needs a little bit of leeway as it won't always come off.
The 12 month contract will soon become a concern if he can maintain his current form.
