Bowler's right foot

Sounds like the name of a sequel to the Oscar winning movie "My Left Testicle"

Edit to say that reading this back it appears rather disparaging...quite the opposite in fact as my left testicle is performing magnificently, quite remarkable really for an old boy like me 🤣

He’s frustrating but we are so, so much better with him in the team. Would be interested to see our goals per 90 with him on the pitch vs without him.

Also young and his potential is so high, he is worth getting behind and sticking with him.
I think he is better with Gabriel behind him

Good game today but the reality is that he has only produced an end product in about 3 of the games he has played. His decision making is not always the best but was much improved today.

His confidence has dipped you can see that. A few moans and groans when it went wrong today won’t have helped. He needs support to help him through. We are better with him in the team than out.

If Bowler worked on the weak sides of his game, he'd be a premier league player

For quick by-line whipped in crosses, just waiting to be headed in, he's terrible on his right foot. Today he managed a couple of passes which resulted in our winning goals. He spluttered a bit here & there but that was much improved, I like many others would want him to swap wings now & then too. 👍 👍

Totally agree he's the main creative influence we have. Yeah room for improvement but young. Anyone remember the Fulham game!!

He's fully deserved the criticism he's had lately. Today was much better but that doesn't make irrelevant what's been said.
Why doesn’t Mitchell or Dale receive the same amount of criticism who have literally done sod all recently. I don’t know why people enjoy slagging Bowler off…. Maybe it’s his hair?

I dont think he had a good game to be honest but he does tend to create things, he had a bit more fire in him than in previous weeks.
For a pllayer who wasn't having a good game, he scored a contender for goal of the season. What control in horrible conditions, left the centre half on his arse then made the keeper go the wrong way before rolling it into the opposite side. Fantastic goal.

He's a special player but has been improving in all aspects of his game. Defensively he is working harder and his end product is getting better. He's the sort of player any defender would hate to come up against, skill, pace and he is so unpredictable, that poor Brizzle defender will need a corkscrew to get him out of our pitch.

That post was from a game in mid december

Is all about the coaching and the team they play in.
I’ve not met a Liverpool fan yet with a nice word to say about Charlie Adam
Or a Leeds fan about Stephen Crainey. I know a few and they laugh when I mention he's part of the legendary team and was a superb player for us.
All in the timing, coaching and environment as you say.
