Hi

Only a few days now until we have Brett Ormerod LIVE on Thursday hopefully we will have plenty of you guys in the chat however, if you can't make it but would like me and Jane to read a message or ask him a question on Thursday then please post in this thread and we will do our best to read them out or ask for you.

I could but I'm not sure that's very interesting if I'm being honest. What do you think guys? This or what went through your mind as you beat the defenders in the box to score the winning goal at Wembley?

I know which one he hasn't been asked 1000 times before.

You could ask him before his move to Southampton was he aware that Strachan was at a nightmatch in the November disguised with a false ginger beard and a tamoshanter hat? He was in the South Stand.

How did he feel on the big money move, was there too much extra pressure? Did he feel 'made for life' with the increased wages? How does he look back on his subs appearance in the FA Cup final at Cardiff when 2 down he hit the crossbar?

What is it from you two, jealous he spoke to Lee and Jane and not your podcasts?

It's nice that you have TT and I appreciate that. We love your stuff and it's very professional. We are not at your level does that matter?

I don't know? Do I want my show to be like the seasiders podcast? No absolutely not we are different and IMHO that's how it should be 🙂

We just like to entertain and have a good old chat. Sure Brett slipped a few swear words in but my channel isn't for kids. I watched Jose Mourinho swear like a trooper in the 1st episode of Tottenham last night.

You only managed a few minutes and that's fine with me I only managed a few minutes of yours 🙂
 
Enjoyed it, Great to see Brett relaxed and having a few beers. Swearing didn't bother me at all, some great little stories in there. We're looking for the next Brett, will it be Apter?

If I have a criticism of your stuff TT, you look like you're about to swallow your big fluffy microphone. Do you need to be so close? I find it quite off-putting. Just a little bit of feedback, well intentioned.

Not had chance to watch all of it yet but seemed like a comfy chat down the pub, which is nice and maybe more revealing of personality than a more professional-type interview (which we get from MSM anyway). Room for all styles and folk can watch the ones they prefer, and/or the ones their mates produce. Not sure calling out alternative productions is necessary unless constructive criticism is offered ( not addressed at you Lee).

John tells us to get as close as possible as the audio can go quiet if we’re too far away. I’m also cramped into a small space 👍

I don’t mind the swearing we often swear when discussing square pegs in round holes and triple substitutions.
 
I enjoyed it and he came across as expected .Down to earth Lancashire lad. Most people talk like that in the pub but frowned upon on here.🤷‍♂️
Good to look back and hear stories about previous players some of whom ive long forgotten.
One thing i cant help notice is Jane always looks like shes miles away ,or wishing she was .😁
 
I was disappointed. No structure, he is not really as interesting as I had hoped he would be. Agree with what others say about lack of structure. You promoted this for ages, but it looked like you'd just wandered in and done the first thing that came into your head.

I'm not a great fan of the Seasiders Podcast either, which is very negative at times. But they do show a level of professionalism that you are nowhere near as yet. You should use Jane more, she is a proper fan and would probably improve your content quite a lot.

I think with the post match show it’s quite raw and if we’ve just lost people can tend to vent. We do try to balance it with the positives 👍👍
 
Don’t really understand the negativity about it - especially from the SeasidersPod side. Never seen Lee or Jane come on to critique your podcast so brutally and it does come across a bit ‘my dad’s bigger than yours’

Lee and Jane do what they do, SeasidersPod do what they do. Neither is perfect but it’s nice to have fans on all sides take time out of their own lives to deliver the content and I enjoy them all.
 
Really enjoyed that. Lee and Jane did a good job. Brett came across as brilliant, a really likeable down to earth character you would love to have a pint with and listen to his comical stories and memories of the club.

There really was no point posting that they didn't enjoy it, sounds pointless from someone who doesn't have their own podcast and vindictive from someone who does, like a third rate Noel Gallagher quote about another band, just petty and disappointing.
