Got my 2 tickets yesterday had to phone up and the lovely girl posted them straight out to my door

Very efficient

However why have we only sold 500 during the season ticket priority window

They are now on general sale to the masses

I'm very surprised we haven't sold more given its our first game back in the Championship

Maybe we don't have as many uber fans as i thought

Might be that thing you keep mentioning about expensive tickets.

Biggest away crowd I can remember being part of there is about 800 when Holloway was manager.

Surely not i thought price wasn't a factor 🤔

Yeah we never take many there its a bit far for most just thought with it being the first game and all that ...

It shouldn't get in the way if it's something that you really want to be at. Or if we had a large enough fanbase that when you shake off who won't travel you're still left with more demand than supply, but you never know. In no way should I have qualified for a play off home ticket or Wembley but I got the call in the end when they were trying to find bodies as the take up wasn't there from season ticket holders who paid more to watch i-follow. So I guess there's lots of variables involved and even more so at the moment because of the covid situation.

It's expensive. It's a long way and many predictions of traffic chaos. It's summer and there are other options. I have got a ticket but going down on Friday.

Ordered 2 online on Monday and waiting for delivery, but post to Lincolnshire can take an extra day or two. Some are waiting to see if there are any test or passport restrictions

Schools have all finished for the summer most families have holidays booked with majority staying in this country!! I'm a ST holder and away with my family. I made sure I was back for the first home game of the season 👍 just didn't tell the Mrs this, when I arranged our staycation 😂 I will however be going to all the away games around London, and Luton as family in Watford 👍

We were going to go on the train (two of us) but it is a total nightmare and the supporters coach (not my first choice anyway) is leaving after 9 and probably wont get there until just before kick off so not sure what to do.. If anybody is driving from Blackpool and coming back to Blackpool after the game then we would be happy to share any costs.

Please PM through AVFTT if anyone going has two spare seats.

Already booked the weekend away in Bournemouth so dont fancy staying over really.

TTP the Supporters coach leaves at 8 am even that could be a bit tight with at least a couple of stops

I’m shocked nobody has told you they bought they tickets before you on the day they came out, just to prove their UBER status.

£33 per ticket , I’m not paying that !

It’s only an hour and 15 minutes to Bristol what’s up with you . I was there today.
Oh sorry I forgot I live in Birmingham now. One of my closer away matches
An hour and 15 minutes on an August Saturday down the M5 ....yeah sure....good luck with that unless you plan to leave very early😉

This thread is the author giving himself a large pat on the back for going to Ashton Gate. A couple of weeks ago he couldn't give a fuck when the Rangers game was called off as he couldn't actually make that one himself and said on here the game should never have been arranged.

Its funny how his law works. If anyone can't make Bristol City themselves, and there will be numerous reasons why people can't but by his law, it doesn't make you much of a fan 😟

I spoke to someone at the ticket office yesterday said they were selling well and they would be asking Bristol for more

Clearly never went to any games then

How far is that from the ground ?
15 - 20 minute walk

Sadly I won't be there.
I promise to do extra voluntary work at Bloomfield Rd as my penance.

I won’t be there as I hate travelling. It was a good day at Wembley, but that drive back 🥱🥴 if only we could beam up & get there in milliseconds. 10/10 for those who have a whole day free & go & make some noise. I’ll do the Nobbers & Probably T’rovers. Radio for me.
