Sorry to learn that former Jam bassist Bruce Foxton was recently diagnosed with cancer & is currently recovering from surgery.

I wish him a full & speedy recovery.

The Jam and SLF are up there amongst my favourite bands of all time.

Here’s wishing Bruce a full recovery and hope we get to see him back on stage someday.

Went to see from the jam in York January. Seen FTJ and The Jam quite a few times
Wondered why he wasn't being his usual self on stage, obviously had this on his mind.

Just googled Bruce Foxton and nothing about cancer in the media.

It was posted on ‘The Jam Society’ page on Facebook on Thursday.

I must admit I haven’t seen anything else about it in the media either. Apologies if it turns out to be misinformation - it was posted in good faith. On the other hand, obviously if it turns out to be untrue, it’s good news.

Just to be clear, I wasn't criticising the post, I just couldn't find any news. As you say, hope it's untrue but if it isn't, let's hope he pulls through.
