Can Larry please make up his mind about a Penalty taker!

The squabbling over the ball like a group of 5 years olds as to who takes the pen is becoming embarrassing!

They didn't squabble. The 6'5'' Gnanduillet clutching the ball firmly under his arm, looked down on the 5'6'' Captain Spearing who agreed to let him have it. 😀

If Spearing is captain and wants to take a pen, you have to wonder why he has been out manoeuvred by Gnando on two occasions now?

We should have a dedicated pen taker (I don't know if that's the case) if you pull rank surely it puts extra pressure on you.

Larry must be one of those manages that subscribes to the “whoever fancies it the most on the day” school of thought....or it’s another area of the basics that hasn’t been properly sorted out. The big problem with letting the lads sort it out between them is that they lose focus with an unnecessary argument before taking the damn thing. It can’t be helpful to the matter in hand.

Plus it makes us look a bit like fannies, especially if they then go on to miss!!

Grayson revealed post-match he will never tell his players who should or shouldn't be taking spot kicks.
“I’ve never been one to dictate who does this and who does that, it’s up to the players to take responsibility," he said.
“We had two experienced players deciding what we were going to do.
“When Armand decided he was going to take it with Jay probably giving his consent - eventually - all you want to do is see the ball hit the back of the net.

“Thankfully that’s what happened, so we’ll take it.
“If Armand had missed it we would have been having a different type of debate but you have to give players responsibility.”

Gnando wants to boost his goal tally and perhaps attract interest? At least he hit it properly instead of that foolish attempt at Reading.

Spearing has only taken one all season, hasn't he?

Gnanduillet knows that and I think was right to stand his ground. The one he tried to chip in was the only one he has missed, from memory.

If Gnan wants to take it who is going to argue with a six foot something French man lol.
? As long as he tries nothing fancy again he is ok by me,

I haven’t a problem with Gnando taking them but just make it a managerial decision! It kind of undermines Spearing as captain if it’s left to players on the pitch and he keeps making to take them and being ignored though don’t you think?
