Beesley tried hard but did not cause a development side any issuesIn good old AVFTT fashion? Thoughts on all the players today?
Am especially interested in Beesley, Dale, Trybull, Thompson, the Trialist and Apter if you want to narrow it down.
Get shut before he becomes a liability and hated by the boo boys.Thompson still looks clueless
I wasn’t disappointed with Beesley, he worked hard, had some very good touches, and like I said on another thread, he just looks a little lightweight and could do with bulking up a bit.Yeah Beesley was disappointing.
Totally agree but I thought CJ played really well today .Norburn looks a class act.
Pennington looks composed
Apter & Dale quite lively
Big Marv was back to his best
Lavery looks sharp
Hubby looks a yard off it to me but should be solid at league 1 level.
Thought Tharme & Casey did well when on.
Not sure on Beesley
Not a scapegoatBeesley the scapegoat this season by the looks of things
Good point, the boo boys will need a new scapegoat now Maxi has gone. Dom, Kenny and CJ keep your heads down…Get shut before he becomes a liability and hated by the boo boys.
Was CJ playing in the midfield 3 or as a wing-back? Assuming we played a 532 again.Totally agree but I thought CJ played really well today .
Norburn then PenningtonWho was skipper today?
Playing as a wing back and did really well .Was CJ playing in the midfield 3 or as a wing-back? Assuming we played a 532 again.
Last year pre season he looked a bit of a unit, not quite fully back after the injury maybeI wasn’t disappointed with Beesley, he worked hard, had some very good touches, and like I said on another thread, he just looks a little lightweight and could do with bulking up a bit.
Possibly.Last year pre season he looked a bit of a unit, not quite fully back after the injury maybe
Isn't there a case for playing Norburn in front of Trybull?Beesley tried hard but did not cause a development side any issues
Dale and Apter actually did well up front but the Hibs lads would have been tiring at that point.
Trybull good player but very similar to Norburn and not sure I would play both
Triallist looked useful but how many midfielders do we need
Thompson still looks clueless
Maybe but I think they would be vying for the same spaceIsn't there a case for playing Norburn in front of Trybull?
He seems to have lost some pace since his injury. I hope he can regain it and push on. Similar to how Lavery seems to have done.Last year pre season he looked a bit of a unit, not quite fully back after the injury maybe
In the current situation I would agree but for some reason I just can’t see Trybull still being here at the end of the windowI was hoping A Trialist would have been a striker. We don’t need any more midfielders really
I really don't think he'll be going anywhere, we need to keep himThe silence from Trybull in Cork was deafening.
The R Lancs interviewer, Bayes, a Blackburn fan who knew him from his time at Rovers, didn’t or couldn’t arrange an interview with him.
Maybe I’m reading too much into it.
Didn’t someone say Trybull would have to leave by 15th July if he was to leave because of a clause in his contract? If Trybull and or Virtue leave we need midfielders hence Oakley Boothe maybe.
