Car Hire

I was asked once if I wanted to pay the extra for breakdown assistance and my reply was along the lines of; "If it breaks down it's not my problem. It's your car not mine. I'll just tell you where it is and you can come and get it".

They didn't press the point.😀
 
If you are a member of the AA or RAC it is you who is covered not the car you can drive anything and receive breakdown assistance.
I've been member of AA for years changed cars many times they don't ask for your Car REG .
