Just drove to pick up my tickets for tonight's game noticed around 14 caravans taking up the car park near the armfield club... Not saying they are gypsys as I don't know .. just looked strange them letting the caravan tiers down to fit under the car park barrier 😕

Will the Council make them pay parking charges like people have to on that car park?
I've bought a Season Ticket for that car park. Might be dodgy parking for 2/3 hours now.

It’s impossible for the council to make a pre-emptive strike, as they don’t have a crystal ball. However I’m sure one of the new residence could sell them one, along with some lucky heather, pegs and 2 tons of tarmac!

Went to The Plant Place in Thornton yesterday just seen on Facebook they’ve had to close today because of travellers pitching up! 🤷 Not on is it!

On Haslam park in Preston a few weeks ago. Caravans were spotless as they use anywhere outside as a toilet. Scum.
But they’ve now broken onto Conway drive park as well as getting the cafe on Moor Park (which is excellent) closed due to intimidating customers.

Started on Haslam Park, moved on to Ribbleton Park then to Moor Park. Moved by the police because of the Rockprest festival in that park, but only as far as Ashton Park and Conway Park. This moving travellers around bollox is completely stupid and a pointless use of resources.

Absolutely huge funeral today that started opposite the Highfield. It wouldn't surprise me if a lot of them had come over to Blackpool for this.
There were literally about 15 funeral cars followed by about 100 normal cars.

Further 5 stolen vans recovered from travellers site in Preston following 6 last month. This issue needs addressing as they are happy to operate outside the law

🙄 That’s not good though the police have recovered the stolen caravans, a car that was used to tow them and arrested two or three people so you could argue that the issue has been addressed

as for operating outside the law, if this idea ever catches on amongst members of the non-traveller community, goodness only knows what would happen

I’d say that there’s probably a fair few on here who ‘operate outside the law’ one way or another. Wouldn’t you agree ?

Who operated outside the law on here ? Please expand on that ?
