Seems to me there’s hundreds of millions of investment being proposed for the town. 5 star hotels, trendy central drive, Revoe, conference centre, £300 million pound indoor theme park. What’s going on? Trying to go upmarket might seem attractive, but you need to persuade those people to come and you can’t leave some of the dead legs in situ.

Generally the idea of holidays is to go somewhere that is nicer than where you live or offers something that you can't do at home.
Blackpool has been sleepwalking into oblivion for years so let's hope the investment is finally coming!
