Season started yesterday and already started in Scotland but I don't see him playing yet ?
Is he training with anybody?
Obviously holding out for the best price.
Watching us yesterday he would definitely add something if his demands were realistic but the trouble is he's done it again hasn't he? No proper pre season behind him and he can't be anywhere near match fit.

Earlier in the window, I was generally in favour of him coming in, but now, I just don’t think he’s the right fit for this team anymore and I don’t think it would be the return we all would want for such a great player in Tangerine. I hope he does great in Dundee, we’ll always have those memories!

What difference would he have made yesterday?
All our failings were in the Penalty area & surroundings. We need someone to put the effing ball in the net.
Our approach work was excellent, the finishing wasn't.
WE NEED A GOOD STRIKER.

I may not be correct here, but isn't CA's wife local with family local too? If that is the case I can't see her upping and moving to Scotland.

I assume you’re implying we don’t have a decent striker. If that’s the case, I think your assumption is a little premature as we’ve only played one league game.

Furthermore, Plymouth defended like trojans and were on the ropes for a good 75% of that game.

If we keep dominating then the results will follow 👍🏻

No doubt in my mind that Charlie would run the show at this level and have a great influence on the young players in the sqad.
At one point last season it looked like we were trying to make it happen until Reading stepped in.
Nothing to stop us trying again with a deal that suits both parties but not sure if Critchley would fancy it.

He may still be living there. He just doesn't own it and the landlord has it up for sale. TAM should know.

Charlie made a bit of a rod for his own back this summer by waiting around for the best deal, then the salary cap came in so he won't be able to drop down to league 1/2 as one of the higher earners and remain on big wages, meaning he will have to either take an even bigger pay cut from what he has been on previously, or a move to Scotland/hope he can get a deal to sit on the bench in the Championship again

When Charlie joined us he had played in Europe for Rangers and he joined a Championship team.
We are not a Championship team. Let's find our own future stars.

CA has had more than his chance to come back to us - if he wanted to come & the management wanted him, he’d be here, regardless of how many games/free kicks he’d allegedly ‘boss’.

It’s really time to let it go, surely......

The amount of threads on Charlie Adam you'd think that we had a message board full of stalkers!!!
Where does he live?
Where does he train?
What team is he joining?
Is he downsizing?

FFS get a grip Critch doesn't want him or he doesn't want to come here. There's no doubt he would be a great addition to the squad but it's not happening.
Did you all keep stalking your ex's when they left you?
Please can we move on.

Hazi the new BFC housing executive will tell us if there are any miles in Chaz signing. For me,he's past it,even at this level.

Had offers in Scotland and Australia but doesn't want to go. He’s been training everyday with a personal trainer and is in as good a shape as ever. He would absolutely boss it at this level no doubt, anyone who thinks otherwise needs there heads testing.

I believe he *does* want to go to Dundee in his heart but has been made to see sense by others that it's a dead end move. He's definitely not prepared to go to Aus and be away from his family. Scotland is different as he's got people all round him up there.

It's my understanding he's got some decent income from new media contracts and is looking for a club that will offer him coaching alongside playing. The prospect of starting a coaching career is more important to him than anything else.

I don't think we've offered anything this time round.

He didn’t boss it for Bolton when they lost 5-1

Jesus, 1.5 mil for that house.

Only person in Poulton who could afford it is Andy Sumner from the police, and he probably hasn't been back in 30 years.

Used to walk home from hodgson down that road, don't think they appreciated our game of kicking rocks. One day the headteacher was waiting and ambushed us , made us get out our school planners for an extra curricular rendition of the school rules, good times.

As for Charlie, what a legend. Hope he comes back to the club at some point just for the boost it would give everyone, more likely in a non playing role. I feel like Holloway did a good job of reminding players what our great club had achieved in the past, hope Charlie will come back and some of that passion will rub off.
