I can see why he had a moan about Jerry going to the floor, but it happens against us it evens its self out eventually.
Two terrific strikes for the two pens as well, he can't half hit the bloody thing.
 
Our refereeing decision ships all came in at once. We could have done with them being spread across a few games.

We played well, but we also had a lot of assistance. And that's a shocking dive by Yates, if we are being honest! Doesn't even look like anything that might happen naturally.
 
The only thing he had to moan about was the second penalty, which looked very soft indeed. How much room did they give Virtue to shoot! He should have been calling his defenders rather than moaning about us.
 
Two assists from Simms. The lad is helping us nicely. Doing a Seamus to the play offs and up hopefully. The ref and lino must have been on 0-3 correct score to give that second pen 😂

In real time I think it was a bona fide penalty, despite the the theatrics. 9 out of 10 non-VAR refs would give it I reckon.
 
What we've been missing from Kaikai is that pass to Simms that led to the penalty, a dangerous defence splitting through ball that forced the defender into an error giving away a penalty. At the time I thought it was a straight red, that would have been harsh considering it looks like he falls over but it is definitely a penalty - brilliant strength from Simms to get around him.

The 2nd penalty does look soft from iFollow/Highlights but their commentator instantly said it was a penalty and the ref gave it so I'll take it!

The defender kicks his shin entitled to go down and win a pen for me
 
Looking at the decisions with no biased, it’s not clear why Pratley got sent off and our 2nd pen was never a penalty imo
 
The other decision, apart from the dubious second penalty award, that no-one on here seems to have mentioned is their goal disallowed for offside.I have frozen the picture at the moment the headed pass to the scorer was made and at that crucial moment the scorer definitely looks onside to me even though when he receives the ball he is in an offside position ,but that latter position is of course irrelevant.

This thread also underlines yet again just how impossible SOME of our fans ,like at every club,find it to be fair and balanced.Perhaps over a season poor decisions tend to balance themselves out but yesterday Charlton fans certainly had good reason to feel aggrieved.

Pratley was lucky to be still on the pitch and put some afters in on Gabriel that the ref had a good view of. The offside could go either way without VAR as they have since time began. I didn’t see any glaring bad decisions bar the yellow against us. As fans we have enough to debate about ourselves we don’t need to worry about the other team. We have had some shockers against us this season it does indeed even itself out.
 
Ref in a good position for both pens. 1st, nailed on pen. 2nd given for the push I reckon. Soft perhaps, but the ref had a better view than the camera.
 
Interesting that the keeper guessed both ways for the pens - on another day they could've been saved but I think we had a bit of (rare) luck with us on Saturday.

Same with me have been trying for some time, as I missed the game got called into work at short notice😡what a game to miss and cannot even see the highlights
