Barton just confirmed. Brilliant

If possible, would you have him here?

Where’s he gone?
If anyone can link the bbc lancs tweet it would really help. Won’t let me for some reason.
Basically seems to have had disciplinary problems and Barton has just said post-match that as long as he is manager Ched Evans won’t play again for Fleetwood Town. With January so close you could say that’s the end for him there.

Or Barton on his way.

And before anyone starts a sign Evans campaign, just no. Not what we need.

"It would’ve helped if we’d have had Ched (Evans). He’s no longer with us and he’ll leave the building due to his discipline and his behaviour.

“There’s been multiple infractions and we always try to give a bit of leeway but it’s just run its course

Apparently, and I reserve the right to backtrack if not 100%, but he's been going round Poolfoot at training and the dressing room before the game and at half time shouting 'SEA, SEA, SEASIDERS'. It took Barton a month to stop joining in and another for Pilley to wake up and put a stop to it (after remembering he didn't get BFC).

Stinks of covering up a poor performance and result by diverting attention away to Evans. There is always something lurking round the corner as far as Barton is concerned but he's let big players go in the past and come through it on the right side and is not afraid to make the big decisions. You feel though he reacts emotionally to things very quickly and sod the consequences.
The 3 on the cod army page are in meltdown.

Hope we get another video of that little Cod muppet having a meltdown 😂

My Fleetwood? Yer ok you’ve been reading too many Comical Allez crackpot posts. 😂

This board is obsessed with the fish heads it’s a. Blackpool board FFS.

We’ve already got a penalty taker, isn’t that all he’s good for these days. 😏

I'd take him till the end of the season but not long term. He seems like a nightmare to manage, think we could handle him for a few months and he would do a job for us. Unless we already have someone lined up for January then he is a good short term option at this level.

Bobby Grant (a fans favourite) left under similar circumstances I recall. Barton doesn’t like being challenged.

It would be an Oystons style signing...troubled ‘name’ player available on the cheap to fake a level of ambition on the pitch. Chopra stylie.Disappointment written all over it. It would be a no from me.
Tbh I think it’s an insult to our current squad to be even contemplating having him here. There is clearly a good team spirit. Why would you even risk that?

I actually agree. Just a question as there’s been a lot of talk on this board last few days about bringing a new striker in in January.

Nah we’ve better bench warmers than him
No we don't none of our subs are a number 9.
If NC fancied him(I doubt) then he'd get my backing same as if Gnado came back(double doubt) but one thing for sure Evans is a good player and would be a decent back up to Madine and Yates so why not he's free and will will take the basic wage no probs.

Is it not 1 person with 3 profiles lol

Only one person on AVFTT giving him a chance. What a shock
My Cod’s now?
You soon change your tune when someone mentions Fleetwood or anything to do with Fleetwood yet you keep telling us it’s the wrong message board to discuss them and you don’t give a shit about them blah blah but that clearly isn’t the case is it? 🤐

I wonder if Pilley ok'd Evans leaving before Barton made it public? After all its him who has to pick up the tab. If it was an emotional reaction after the game then i cant see Pilley being too impressed. Maybe the plan was always to get rid and bring Harvey Saunders more into the team.

HR and Pilley I would imagine. If not, there will be legal implications re employment law etc....

I've said that while they're in our division, it's a local rivalry which I'm happy to disparage them in.

I'd like to think both SS and NC, are thinking younger and better than Evans in January. Potenial, fit into the group and sell on fee, is our new master plan.
Not for me
