Agreed. It's like dragon's den, we provide the virus and now attempt to offer a solution...at a costCheeky sods - they should be offering it to the rest of the world first the disease spreaders!
That will only fuel the fire that they are profiting from a virus they purposely created.Just saw the article on the BBC news that China is providing one of 2 separate vaccines to people who can afford it.
As ever you need to consider the validity of the story but that has to be a positive step?
I agree Lala. If they are successful and then make it available for export, can you imagine the reaction in the US?That will only fuel the fire that they are profiting from a virus they purposely created.
I reserve judgment personally, but that’s what will be doing the rounds if it turns out to be correct re a vaccine.

When people here were believing press reports that the Oxford vaccine was winning the race, they were saying things like, the UK population should get it first and we should sell it and make millions. Now some other country has one first, people here say they should share it.
If they really wanted to make money from a vaccine they wouldn't have suppressed it so well in their own land. They have been getting around 15 new cases a day in a population of 1.4 billion. They tested a whole city of 11 million people this week and found no new cases.
That’s the thing.... Coronaviruses don’t actually mutate at a rate that would make much difference, so mutation is not really the issue for a vaccine, unlike Flu.So they MAY have a vaccine for that strain - what's the point, these things mutate.
We need to adapt and move forward.
Not seen much evidence to suggest otherwise. I also have a friend from China whose family is still all living there and know some other people living in Shanghai who seem happy with how it's being dealt with there.do you really believe they suppressed it that well?

It hasn't been tested fully. These people are just human experiments at £45 a pop.Do you have confidence that it's been properly tested, been through the full trial process and has been proven to be both safe and effective?
This is China we're talking about.
And the gullibles believe everything China tell us.When people here were believing press reports that the Oxford vaccine was winning the race, they were saying things like, the UK population should get it first and we should sell it and make millions. As ever, it is hard to believe all the statements out of China, but this is still progression of a sort.
It's a race to be first so that country / research group / company can say that they 'saved the world'.
However the fact that China is doing this now is significant (at least to me). And added to the Russian smear story below it looks like Oxford could be pretty close to concluding phase 3 testing (I really hope that this is true). Remember, the Russians have already been accused of trying to hack into the Oxford vaccine research group's network.
AZ are preparing 2 billion doses of this vaccine, of which the UK has bought 100 million (you need two jabs apparantly). It all points to the same thing. Lets hope it is true and we can get out of this mess quickly.
Russia has launched a propaganda campaign to smear the coronavirus vaccine being developed by Oxford University scientists
The Kremlin is accused of spreading fear about the serum, claiming it will turn people into monkeys. The Russians base the suggestion on the fact the vaccine is using a chimpanzee virus. The Russians have disseminated pictures and memes of Prime Minister Boris Johnson looking like “a yeti”. It’s...www.eureporter.co
A Communist state is providing a vaccine to those who can afford it? Pathetic whichever way that pans out.Just saw the article on the BBC news that China is providing one of 2 separate vaccines to people who can afford it.

Yeah, all men are equal but some are more equal than others to paraphrase GeorgeA Communist state is providing a vaccine to those who can afford it? Pathetic whichever way that pans out.
Are you honestly that gullible to believe a word that comes out of China? When people here were believing press reports that the Oxford vaccine was winning the race, they were saying things like, the UK population should get it first and we should sell it and make millions. No but neither do I judge that country purely based on Western media or conspiracy theories. Knowing a couple of people who live there or their family still lives there gives me a more balanced insight. Are you honestly that gullible to believe a word that comes out of China?
If it’s via Wish I wouldn’t hold your breath waiting for it to be delivered. Will it be available through Wish or DHgate?
Yes and if you criticise the CCP good luck....even if you are no longer resident there...and I have like you friends who still have family there. No but neither do I judge that country purely based on Western media or conspiracy theories.
