For Radio Merseyside apparently, just seen him quoted on the BBC website coverage. I knew he did the odd RL game, but a grand final? Surely they must have someone better!

Great game and a finish with drama on a par with the Watersplash Final for those of us old enough to remember or who have seen it since.

Wigan were robbed in the end.
Saints threw everything at them for 79 minutes and 59 seconds and Wigans defence was awesome.
Every point saints got were given to em on a plate.
Smithies stupid penalty right on half time, a dubious penalty for a high shot and French standing round with his thumb up his backside ball watching, it's a grand final ffs.
Plus Zak Hardaker thought the final was all about him, missing the conversion then going for the glory penalty from the half way line!! Kick to the corner work the ball to the centre, drop goal Wigan win. Oh no it's all about Zak
Cracking game and shows that you don't needs millions of trys to make it a great game

Saints deserved the win but it was a brilliant spectacle. Sport doesn't get much better, two evenly matched teams not giving an inch with the drama of a last gasp winning score.

Wigan certainly weren't unlucky
Saints the better team from start to finish
Wigan were set up to defend and tried to bully Saints like the last time they played with late and high tackles

Agree. Better side won, but Wigan could have easily nicked it.
