"We got pushed back and you have to give credit to Blackpool for that. They're fighting for points and it would have been a big scalp for them to get a result off us.

"When you're in good form, picking up points and a big club in this division, you've got a target on your back and we have to deal with this."

What obnoxious comments they are

Lets be honest he's not going to say we were shit. They hit the woodwork three times. They deserved a penalty for a handball. And should have beaten us for a third time this season and we were lucky they had a depleated squad but moved heaven and earth to get the game on.

"Scalp", it's not a cup game. Won't be the first person in football to have no idea about our standing as a football club and the memories our fans have of competing at this level, Middlesbrough are a bigger club than us, of course, but come on, we'd already beaten them twice this year.

He's just wrong isn't he. Middlesbrough are hardly a 'scalp'. They are an averaged sized championship club. Just deluded comments.

We deserved at least a point from that game tonight. They got away with one and he knows it.

Does he honestly believe boro are a club with a target on their back? 🤣

They've won a few lower league titles, a playoff final and a league cup.
Big scalp? Do me a favour 🤦‍♂️

Nobody had heard of Chris Wilder 3 years ago. Stupid comments from a bloke who managed a so called smaller club in the EPL.

He's got all the credentials of a nailed on managerial nomad once he's failed at Boro (who always fail).

Wilder is an “old school” type of manager. He has more plusses than minuses but speaking is not one of his plusses! He’s made statements that you’d expect after an away win (off a prepared list) that are for the benefit of his own team/fans. Best he manages for his opponents are patronising.
Surprised he didn’t compare it to winning at Newcastle.
