Christmas at Easter

Are those who put Christmas plans on hold until Easter still confident they'll be able to eat, drink and be merry?

We’ve gone for July & I think we stand a chance, Easter has come to early I fear. Not holding my breath for an event in early May although it may be possible for it to go ahead with restrictions, but it won’t be the same, I think it will be put back again.

I'd rather not bother.

It cost us a fortune to electrocute the garden fence last time.

Best not to put timescales on things at the moment.
Unfortunately in the want want want society lots get het up, annoyed and anxious that they cant have their holiday, party, restaurant meal, haircut etc.
When it happens it happens and if you haven't put a time, day, date on anything it comes as a nice surprise.

Was it Wayne’s World where they took the piss out of everyone by saying something then following it up with ‘NOT!’
eg. Three weeks to squash the sombrero.
NOT!
Second lockdown to save Christmas.
NOT!
You can have Christmas at Easter.
NOT!
You’ll have a great British summer.
NOT!

And so on…
