Was in Blackpool the other day. Was told an interesting story about Chubby Brown. A bit old hat for my taste but still pulls a crowd. Anyway he is banned from most theatres accross the world but not North Pier. The reason being the North pier comes under maritine laws. Crazy right, but a true fact.
 
met him in Tenerife years ago and totally different bloke away from his act, had a stunning blonde on his arm as well who i would hazard was not his wife...

He was on in Bolton last week. I think he does an annual gig there.

Same nice fella he was mates with Ken who had the Brewers Droop who I knew well he was always in there when visiting Tenerife in the 90's.

Was driven out of Bradford and banned, just after the City Fire disaster. Jokes about fires and barbecues in Bradford did not go down at all well.
 
Saw him a month or so back, near Hornby Rd/Coronation St. must have been just before a gig as he was in stage get-up complete with goggles!
He had a bit of a crow ground him, getting selfies, and looked to be having a good laugh with them. He’s not my cup of tea anymore, but fair play to him for taking the time to chat with his fans. 👏
