City in potential DEEP doodoo

I know it’s the Daily Mail so could be a load of bollocks, but City could have their 2014 title taken off them and be forced to sell a bunch of top stars

So with them being banned this coming season does that mean the team finishing 5th (currently Sheffield Utd) would take their place?

I doubt they will expunge the 2014 title...Rangers did the same financial doping in Scotland...they got demoted but their titles are still on the record.

Can you see the same happening to City? Be hilarious to see their first game of the season against Forest Green next season
It took a lot of guts and a little self interest from the Scottish Fa/Clubs....I can't see the English authorities doing the same somehow.

It would be terrible if they were demoted in that way.

If only because it would mean only two clubs would be relegated and that would help West Ham's chances of staying up.

Be careful of what you wish for...... 😎

Even if nothing happens on that front they’re gonna lose the likes of KdB, Ageuro, Sterling. Nothing to do with balancing the books, purely the champions league is the be all and end all to players club wise, and to quote the great Tupac “these bitches ain’t loyal!”

Your hatred for West Ham never fails to amuse me

One thing I know about Arabs is how proud they are of their possessions. It may be the restructure they need as I suspect it will be Pep's last season. The ironic thing is, there will be clubs breaking the bank to get at Sterling, Aguero, Sane and others, I guess UEFA only take a look when it isn't Real or Barca.

Aren’t Real funded by the government or royal family or something? Ridiculous.

City will bounce back cos their rich AF, they’ll just have to restructure, like you say. Maybe the likes of Foden will get more of a chance now

Yes, they have the royals and the bank behind them and massage their books by selling a square yard of their training facility every year. It's a joke how they love to make an example out of English clubs and that is from someone who has zero interest in City.

I agree Newbury. I think that if City have broken the FFP rules then they should be punished. Having said that, it would appear that Real and Barcelona have been getting away with it for years without so much as a peep out of UEFA.

They will escape all punishment. UEFA are the problem here. Corrupt to the core. City have spent millions on the infrastructure of the area around East Manchester. While other clubs drown in debt. The truth will come out and UEFA, all of them, will burn over this.

None of the top players will leave. Regardless Sheik Mansour as already ensured that won't happen.

They'll get let off with a £50.00 fine- suspended. City's lawyers will tear them a new one.

As above, PSG, Real, Barca - all far worse, plus City have made a real investment locally, and correct me if I'm wrong have posted a profit for the last few years.

Does everyone think that Mansour will lie down and just let this happen.
I expect a court case to rival the Val v Oyscum clash, and expect Mansour to come out of this in a better state than UEFA.
