Clotting

You mis-read what I wrote so jumped to a wrong conclusion. The data is here. Stats

No you misread/misunderstood your own source, that is the number of vaccinations given per head of the population however as many of those have been second doses that is not the same as the percentage of the population vaccinated, which is what you claimed.

Other countries around the world will need to catch up with the selfish lands that thought grabbing vaccines first would solve this problem otherwise it won't go away.

By selfish lands I assume you mean countries that invested heavily in vaccine development and production, something that the EU failed to do entirely.

Now you seem to have resorted to childish name calling like in Primary School, I'll be ignoring you from now on as I prefer to debate only with those who have adult behaviour.

🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣

Seems there may be similar clotting problems with J&J: https://www.telegraph.co.uk/global-...ccine-blood-clots-astrazeneca-uk-covid-tests/

Blood clots associated with the Johnson & Johnson vaccine are "extraordinarily rare", a scientist advising the Government on its coronavirus response has said.

"It wouldn't be surprising to find the Janssen vaccine also causes rare blood clots because it's based on an adenovirus technology which is not that far away from the technology being used in the AstraZeneca vaccine."

I wouldn’t lose any sleep over that idiot ignoring you
I had a debate with him and when I told him a few home truths he went off crying like a petulant child 😂

Sounds like the J&J drug has the same side effects as the AZ. There is a huge difference though in that France, Germany and the EC won't be devoting their resources to vilifying it for political purposes. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if no issue is made of its side effects.

Saddo of the week goes to Lost Seasider. Two posts about vaccines and 'clotting' during an enthralling game, the first of which was posted at precisely the same time as Simms's goal. Hope he didn't miss it.
Congrats 👏👏👏.

I suspect you'll find the same for all of the vaccines, its likely a consequence of the immune response rather than the vaccine itself, since they all try to get the same immune respose it follows that the same adverse affects might result.

You are right though, the extra scruitiny AZ is getting is entirely political, if they do find evidence of this for other vaccines the silence will be deafening.

I see that the Irish have decided to restrict it to over 60's as well https://www.politico.eu/article/ireland-halting-use-of-az-vaccine-on-under-60s-citing-clot-risk/

I'm curious, I thought the Irish might be a bit more sensible, but perhaps one of the Ireland based posters can answer, how on earth can you look at the complete mess the EU has made of it's vaccine programme, compare it the the UK and then think "lets follow the EU again"?
Quite incredible as these countries restrict the usage of the AZ vaccine which is resulting in many of their citizens dying unnecessarily. Shame on their leaders!

J&J paused in America due to (assumed) 6 blood clot cases in 7 MILLION people.

If this virus could laugh, it would be having an evil chuckle at our combined incompetence
Just waiting for the pfizer deaths or extremely rare side affects to come out also, then what will these countries do.
