Club announce ticketing: Ticket Details: Play-Off Semi-Final Second Leg

Club could be liable given it possibly occurred on their property... and liable as in a fan was seriously injured, fireworks used on their property (something the club has previous for with the FA) and anything else that goes with it.

It may be black and white to you but I’m sure there are sharper minds than you who make decisions and know what they can and can’t do regarding such matters like this.
Technically, it was on council land, as the club land doesn't stretch far from the stand itself.

Technically, it was on council land, as the club land doesn't stretch far from the stand itself.
And it was not a club organised event. It was a gathering of people on public land who chose to do so without the clubs agreement.

If the club had to start making statements and responding to events that had nothing to do with them (however tragic) then fingers could be pointed at them and they could be deemed a responsible party.

Businesses liable for such situations unfolding on their property at their events could be looking at legal proceedings.

That's why the club are right to take the stance they are. It’s not their business.

The problem with writing “in light of recent events” it suggests the club are only taking a stand against it since an incident occurred.
When really they should be seen to be simply reiterating there already strong stance against it.

There might be plenty going spare if we get stuffed on Tuesday. 🙄

Mr Positive. 👍
Y'know, I almost don't care. Whatever happens, we need to just fill the place out with noise, enthusiasm and colour.

This lot have barely seen a crowd all year and whether we're 4-0 up or down after Tuesday, they've earned the feeling of us lot being behind them.

I obviously do care, but the event is the thing. Success comes and goes, but Saturday, 3pm is eternal*.

*even when it's Friday 7.45pm

I've kind of annoyed myself posting this cos it's a bit smug and knowing but it's true. I haven't seen a game since March last year. I had to self isolate during the Swindon game and most of all, I just want to be there, in a crowd and 'live' a game of football.

Got an ST but self-isolating as of yesterday. Not sure I would have made the trip through anyway on a Friday night. Hope it's a great occasion.

Unfortunate choice of words

‘In the light of recent events we would remind our supporters’

Not really sure what strong stance the club has taken so far to be honest. Do they search people going into the ground, have they ever taken action against anyone to date. As I said to LA we’re not going to agree and we’re not going to change one another’s minds. It is what it is

Gutted I won't get the chance to go but absolutely right that they go to STHs. Well done to all of you that were able and willing to support the club during this time - you all thoroughly deserve these tickets (and hopefully final tickets as well) and I hope you all get to witness another legendary play off performance! UTP

I have heard much about the fabled Izal paper, I remember some very similar stuff being on offer in the Teanlowe Centre bogs when I was a kid, perhaps this was the last backstock of the hallowed ring piece sander?
Newspaper, torn into bits, a hole punched through, string pushed through and then hung on a rusty nail in the so called at the bottom of the yard, spiders, and freezing.

Being an exile I do not have a season ticket (however considering how much I spent on I follow I should have bought one 😪) however my point is for once isn’t it nice not to hear bitching and moaning about who get 1st chance at at paying for a ticket. Good luck to all who go and hope it’s a great night, I will be watching from my local here in Devon 🍺🍺🍺🍺🍺

Within reason i think it’s fair that players wives or family get tickets. These will be the biggest game almost all the players have been part of on their careers to date. It’s right that they have some family there.

I think that's a must and surely they don't have to count them.

My technically incompetent* brother is same LA1

*in his defence he doesn’t have a computer or even broadband so he might be an evil genius at it for all we know! But then its me who has messed with computers and earned a living from them for the last 25 years who might muck it up - who’s incompetent now eh!
From memory (and the Swindon game) you click the link on the club announcement then add in your client Ref from your season ticket and password. Unless they are going to send all ST holders an email like last time. If so the email can end up absolutely anywhere - spam etc. The process will I think be the same regardless ie you need client ref and password for e ticketing. No doubt there will be some gnashing of teeth over all this tomorrow but hopefully it will all work out and there will also be good few tickets that go into general sale. 🧡👍

The Club are supposed to be sending an e-mail confirming your "client reference". I know mine so it's not a problem for me but has anyone had an e-mail yet?

No email has arrived for me yet, I know my client reference but always find it a bit of a pain in the arse using the ticketing system. Every time I have had an issue I have just emailed and they have sorted it for me.

I’ve got Bro added as a person I can buy tickets for on my account and have bought cup tickets this way for both of us. Just remember an issue at start of season when I couldn’t renew both our season tickets.

Hey ho, we will see, bit of time to sort out anyway 👍

Help needed not very technical ,me and my son 20yrs old have seperate emails,so when we get tickets will we be sat together as same home address, thanks inadvance.

I've emailed to see if me and my friend will be sat together. They have said seats are already allocated so at this point linking accounts makes no difference. It will only mean I can buy tickets on his behalf, so now I can only hope we have been sat together

Any problems Tetley email the ticket office. They have stated tickets have already been allocated for families and bubbles.

I have another view on who should be given the opportunity to buy ticket not taken up by season ticket holders. What about those who paid for Ifollow for 40 or more games, they have contributed more than most season ticket holders in the course of the season.

The facts as we know them are that a Blackpool supporter had his hand blown apart by an explosive device on the concourse outside the ground whilst celebrating, along with other fans, the success of Blackpool’s season so far.

What further facts do the club need to say that they were horrified to hear about this, to sympathise with the victim and his family, to say that anyone with information should contact Blackpool Police on xyz number and then to ram home the message that these things are dangerous

Weak not sensible in my opinion so I guess we don’t agree

Meanwhile do the police have a name yet?
The club have been in touch with his family.

I just hope any fans who get any left overs are vocal ones and get Bloomfield road buzzing. Interesting to see atmosphere on Tues to ours on fri.

I’ve watched 51 games on iFollow this season and I’m not a ST holder. Won’t get a ticket, but hey ST holders are the best fans and they’re not just choosing to watch games on the cheap.

A season ticket holder this season who also pays to watch away games on I follow has spent more than anyone....

Just had to spend 10 minutes trying to explain how print at home ticketing works to my old man and trying to make him understand I’ll be buying them and printing them off at home and that he doesn’t need to go to the club shop... I then also had to explain he can’t necessarily have his usual seat... if it’s that hard for just my dad I really DO NOT envy the staff at the ticket office tomorrow morning 😬

But I’ll be there alongside the stupid old fool and I’m absolutely delighted to say that !! ⚽🧡🤞
Touching words 🤣🤣

Can I just check - we have 4 tickets together but aren't in a family or bubble - just 4 mates - will they separate us?
The thing is, by then the new phase of re opening has occurred and people currently are allowed in no more than groups of 6 at pubs or 2 households, but by the 17th its no more than 30 people.

So if 30 people are allowed outside together why are 30 people not allowed outside in a stadium together, its exactly the same.

There should be able to be groups of no more than 30 spread out around the stadium with gaps in between. It makes no sense to me that we could have many different groups of 30 at pubs but not many groups of 30 together in a stadium.

The rules seem to make no scientific sense and similar situations seem to be treated completely differently, with very little logic applied.

Poor do.

Gutted that I'm working away. Will still buy my tickets and put some money in Simon's pocket.
So let me get this straight, your going to buy tickets for the game you cant make, to 'put money in the owners pocket' despite the fact the tickets will definitely sell to someone else and therefore no additional money will be put in the owners pocket.

The only thing your 'bright idea' would cause is slightly less of an atmosphere and people who actually want to go won't be able to.

Either a shitty move or on a wind up 🙄

That's bollix. All I've read on here this season is how we should give everything we have to Simon, so I'm following that rule. I bought a season ticket so it's my choice.

I'm guessing you didn't bother buying one?

If this is not a wind up please don't let a seat go to waste, so buy it and sell it on to someone on here. Please, please.
