Club confirms pricing ST/ on the day

I think £32 for a walk up is very pricey for us. Suggests the club strategy is to try to move people towards more planned attendance, which of course doesn't always work for people.
At only £15.60 per game with a season ticket I agree with you the club are giving a hefty shove towards trying to get as many people to buy a S/T as possible as it’s less than half price of a walk on….we will see how that strategy works out….

So we're ripping off away fans then as well as our own?

This is one for Wiz how many times has he been charged 30 or more to attend a game in the Championship?
I've done quite a few this calender year and not paid £30 hope it isn't recipicated on our travels.

It's a terrible PR disaster we can charge that much when every ground in the North is going to be cheaper.

But hey it's Blackpool we can go on the piss see the attraction's and illuminations so we've got to pay extra to go in their crappy temporary stand.

All fans are equal (apart from one😁) and should be treated that way not ripped off.
Fulham was £30 last season and there were a couple of £28, including Peterborough.

Don't forget there's a £2 booking fee on top of that.

There is for you which makes sense I live ten mins away from ground can pick up as your better getting them sent.

So we are now as expensive as Fulham(thought Bristol was similar)and everyone else is cheaper?
If so that bloody bonkers.

Covered all bases there.

Cheap season tickets on a per game basis
Opportunity to maximise away ticket pricing
Membership scheme to discount walk ons.

Good stuff!!

Well thought out

Not everyone will buy a membership

What about the fans who can only go on bank hols or week nights due to work commitments etc or football fans here for the weekend

Problem not solved at all..

As long as your ok though
Agreed. It’s not great for casuals or exiles that don’t go regularly. The pricing wasn’t going to please everyone, such is life.

Not everyone’s circumstances are the same. I’ll get one. I don’t drink or go out. Football is the only thing my dispensable income goes on. I’ll probably only make 15-17 home games. I think £21.70 a game isn’t bad for championship football. And the money is going towards a training ground and not a Ferrari or mammoth skeleton

It’s £15 for a membership therefore only require 3 games to break even.
Surely the working fans must be able to attend at least 6 games.

The club has done its research including discount for 18-21 Seasiders.

On the brighter side, looks like we have new training ground facilities.

When we went back I got a seat in Block L,the price for this had increased significantly from the pre boycott days,as they were now classed as premium seats.3 years ago the difference between this seat and one in say the North Stand was £50,last season the difference was £60 and the coming season is now £70 difference.I think its unfair, surely the price should go up the same amount as the other seats.

The match day pricing is too much and won't entice new fans. The early bird season ticket price is 70 quid dearer than the nobbers. Disappointing.
Excellent news on the training ground but even that coming out today shows they are trying to balance things up with good news.

It sure was, glad they have listened

Must admit i was hoping for a more competitive price point with the membership though

Anyway I'm ok so thats all that matters I guess
That’s the main thing 👍

It looks to me like they want to try and encourage ST take up at this stage and with 6 Month Payment Deal and £16 a game, people may well go for it.

They can assess the Matchday Pricing as they go, so if sales don’t go so well, we might see some Match Day incentives.

The matchday prices are too high. But having thought about it, I just don't think we're in a position as a club to start looking at reducing ticket prices to make it more affordable to more people. We have an incomplete stadium with a significantly restricted capacity due to access/facilities in the largest stand, and we have an owner that is focusing his personal funds in developing the infrastructure of the club for its long term benefit. It isn't that I don't think he shouldn't make it more affordable for people, but it does seem that his wealth won't stretch to £30m projects plus subsidising the team and ticket prices too. He can't do it all at once seemingly, and I'm fine with that. He's prioritising correctly in my view.
Thanks to our previous owners, we are 20 years behind other clubs of similar stature, most of which already have training complexes, youth academies and completed stadia. They're in a better place than we are, at the moment.
I would hope long term there is a better, more palatable pricing strategy to enable more of the Fylde public to attend.

Ffs what’s with all the moaning you can’t please everyone all the time .If the club reduced the prices you get fans saying they are to cheap 😀

Its only 16 quid a game if one goes to every single game

Anyway its actually a £30 price increase, more than inflation

But are you slightly content though Phil, and not as bad as expected?
I'm ok
Like I've always said it isn't about me

To be honest I'm disappointed with the match day prices and the season ticket increase

I also thought the 18- 21 bracket would have been better

Suppose its good that they have listened to fans and Brett clearly reads this site daily

Must admit I'm not looking forward to 4k away tickets being available every week though with little or no thought into getting home fans into the East

Agree with most of that but where do you get the 4k away fans as only Derby managed that? Police and ground safety will have their views on how many tickets most team get, apart from the nobbers who will only get 10% due to their petulance!

There is nothing to suggest the club are selling tickets in the East to home fans

Its obvious that the East has been left for away fans as nothing has been done to try and sell it to home fans
I would think they would want to sell the other 3 sides out first (if that happens of course) and leave the East should there be a demand, but again that only happened against the Nobbers but where’ve they gone. The Police and Ground Safety would want to leave a 'buffer' in the East and segregate from the North, but as l said l don’t see any change.

That's the point I'm trying to make not enough has been done to try and sell the East (north) to home fans

Infact nothing has been done at all

Yeah we do need to push this.

Although it did say in the dialogue that Mansford is looking to get something in place for the new season regarding fans exiting that stand. He also mentions the space in the ne corner for home fans one week and away fans another depending on the game and presumably demand.

I'm guessing that until that is done we won't know. The fact he is looking to get something sorted for away fans exiting suggests we would want to use the stand for home fans at times.

But this would have been a great question that should have been asked at the meeting, of how we plan to utilise the east and maximise capacity, instead of vegan food and goals songs.

We won’t see 4K away fans next season at £30 a ticket IMO. Sell them high, sell less. Sell them reasonable, sell more. More than likely make more money from reasonable prices.

I anticipate average attendances to be down next season and season ticket take up to be down, as people prioritise putting food on the table or heating in the house over football.

The Saddler family are going to dig deep to put £30 million of there hard earned for a new stand and training ground.
on top of propping us up for 4.5 mill through covid and folk are moaning at paying more or less the same price as they did under the stains in the championship and they trousered all the money, the 100 million prem money only brought sprinklers and a meccano stand.

It is slightly incredible mate but people are amazing in their ability to surprise

As a weekend worker I won't be buying a season ticket and at £32 a game I won't be going to many home games either. Multi millionaire Simon Sadler do you remember when you lived in Blackpool? It is a poor town, 8 of 10 of the most deprived wards in the UK etc. Probably get slaughtered as I did last season when I complained tickets were too much, but really, this is too much. 😕

I think the important thing to remember is that the Club have the advantage of historical purchase data.

So unlike us who are essentially speculating on Matchday purchase habits, number of games attended etc… they have all that info to hand.

I agree that £32 is a lot, but realistically nobody need pay £32 unless they are attending a single game on the day and don’t wish to make a member so they can attend more games..
£32 is just beyond what anybody should pay for a match at Bloomfield Rd. I doubt anybody disagrees. It smacks of over reaching, to me. It cuts the club off from the community. Which is the opposite of Simon Sadler's mantra. He wants everyone to pitch in like he has. But you need to anticipate what people will do, not what you want or need them to do. And you need to be inclusive. I reckon.

Your season ticket has gone up £100?

if so then it’s gone up £4.34 per game. Inflation rate is circa 7% so yes that rise would be above inflation rate ….unless your ticket was £60 plus
It's an increase of 22.28%. But, as I've said on another thread, I fully expected M Block to take a big hit in order to subsidise lower price rises elsewhere.

Just on memberships....

You get priority on the purchase of away tickets after season ticket holders.

Probably pretty standard but allows members to be ahead of general sale.

Why would you get slaughtered it's a good honest post anyone who doesn't think 30/32 is too high for Blackpool in the Championship they haven't a clue about the town and how it works.

Last season when my customers asked about prices as they know I'm a pool fan and encourage them to attend the odd game the feedback they where OK with Cat B/C prices A at push for Preston but no others at 28 now how on earth do I sell 30/32 to them like you Fylde Seasider not a flaming chance they'll pay it.

If only there was a way for them to pay 25 if people with spare cash had bought the memberships for some walk on fans 😆
