Club Statement 19/20 season

that's fine, your opinion, your choice.

And yes in response to your question, or finish starting in September. Seemingly no desire, well none that was communicated. Then again there was no communication full stop.
Ah yes.

The integrity of the League/Competition.

And if a few clubs go under as a result that’s a price worth paying.

Option 4 for me at least I'm being honest but unlike some who post on here with that option I'm committing for the whole season and all the extra spend at the club.

Latest update - Option 6 - non season ticket holders can stand by their season ticket holder friends to help our club by also making a contribution of say £10 per match by contacting the ticket office . £50 each as a suggested donation . Thank you for your generosity in these difficult times.

Not that I think most would notice but some clubs did offer to add the Bury game in to the mix which it looks like we’ve not done?

Option 1,2 and 3 are effectively the same as the club can give tickets whenever they want.

Option 1 for me, but if anyone wants a refund they should not be lambasted for it 👍

....and I am glad I don’t have to bother finding my tickets and emailing in 👍

5 home league cancelled + Bury makes it actually 6 . It's a fair wedge we've lost actually. But the club can have my money by default .

My brother has applied for a refund (he lost his job at the start of all this and every penny counts) and hasn't heard from the club despite the deadline. Anyone else received a refund?

Would be good if the club could come out and confirm the amount ‘gifted’ back to them by the fans / given to the community etc.
It’s not important but it may make for a nice positive story (should of course it be a healthy figure!)

2x non reply option for one for us... agree LA1 - I’m intrigued... if I had to hazard a % guess I’d predict 80% of ST holders chose either option 1-2-3

I only had individual match tickets for Shrews away and Rochdale at home, so I was due an auto refund. I received the Shrewsbury ticket money last week, still waiting for the Rochdale money. They may be releasing the money in tranches?

probably best he gets on to the club.

I can't remember exactly what a few hundred fans who signed up for that 10 game block paid near the end.. Was it £150 ish..i wonder what choice they have made as £150 for 5 games would nip a lil.

I'd be surprised if it was that high. Discounting Bury to gift £70 is very generous..

Depends how you look at it. I budgeted for this over a year ago, so I've already mentally spent the money. As such, I'm ok with the early options. I think a lot will do the same too.

Obviously, if you've been made redundant over the last month or so or are likely to be so soon, it's perfectly acceptable to get a refund or offset against next season.

It's only a game. There are more important issues on the go at the moment.

My Dad has applied for the refund because he won't be getting a season ticket next year and says he'll put the money to one side so he can go to a few games next season. Still not heard anything from the club.

Anyone had anything from the club? I went for Option 1 and thought I'd at least get some sort of acknowledgement. Wondering whether to send it again?

All season ticket holders have until 5pm on 30th June to submit their preferred option via email. If we do not receive a confirmation of your preferred option, we will assume you are happy for the money to be left within the Club

I forgot to email so assumed they would do as above, yesterday I got a letter saying for a refund please send us your contact details as we don't have them. I don't want a refund, but I can't believe they don't have my details, how the letter got to me remains a mystery.

I didn't get an e-mail but was happy for the club to keep the money - have checked by logging in and they definitely have my e-mail. Sounds like they still have some Oyston glitches in the system!!

I'm guessing it is possible the scenario could occur where a fan didn't receive an email (for whatever reason) and therefore their money stayed with BFC unbeknown to the supporter. Upon discovering this the club would no doubt still refund the money after the above date given the circumstances.

If not then Sadler out (again) 😁

Just to say Dad got an e-mail from the club - they said they'd tried calling him but he hadn't had any missed calls - tickets@blackpoolfc.co.uk is a good place to start for anyone who still hasn't heard from them.

Dad got his money from BFC this morning - excellent work from the club. Only £40 odd but he’s hopeful of reinvesting once it’s safe for him to get out to a game 👍
