Just watched last half hour between Hartlepool & Torquay.

Maybe it’s because I’ve been watching international games for a week but the standard of football has been appalling. Barely seen a pass go to a team mate, long balls going nowhere near the box, I swear I saw one bloke control the ball straight out of play.

That said the Torquay goalkeeper has just equalised in the 94th minute!!! Brilliant!!

Took 30 years but now their fans know how we felt.
Did Chalinor jump or did Dog food Dave get rid? Either way bet DFD is a bit pissed off now🤣👍🏻
 
Good advert for the conference. Never seen a player been stitched on the pitch before. Well done Pools. Had a few pals down there.
 
Paul, if you had seen the whole match the end was not a fair reflection. Tiredness really had kicked in. Hartlepool played some neat pass and move stuff in the first half.
 
Bit of a bummer for Exeter, from having a money spinning local derby, they now have a long trip to the North East and most probably on a Tuesday night!But
pleased for Hartlepool though. I never forgave Torquay fans for singing "Wasted journey" in front of us Blackpool fans after beating us on penalties in the play off final.
 
If the English authorities followed the recent thinking and decided to pander to the millions of Torquay and Hartlepool fans in the Far East, was there a chance this game could have been played at the Hanging Gardens of Babylon?

Not really fair it was played at Ashton Gate either. Not exactly half way between the two is it?
