Congrats to Man United fans

Seriously though, just what has happened at that club? It never seems to change whoever manages them post Ferguson. It’s some hangover!

So some Fylde coast Utd fans had a laugh at us when they beat us at 3-2 at Bloomers, and you've kept that in your back pocket for 10 years until the start of the 2022/23 season to have a go back at them - that's if any of them are even reading the board now.

What a strange O/P 🥴

Every dog…

Trouble is they have a mentality that they should will everything because they are Man United and unfortunately these things have to be worked for. They are making the same mistakes they made pre Ferguson just splashing sh*t loads of cash buying expensive players without any idea how to make them into a team. Long may it continue.

No different from the plastic armchair Liverpool fans we have dotted around the area you really know BFC are in for a struggle attracting new attendees when we have have Man Utd and Liverpool supporters pubs around the Fylde Coast.
Man United
Liverpool
Man City
Chelsea
Everton
Blackburn
Leeds
Newcastle

Plenty of plastics on the Fylde Coast.

God, all the Man United supporters at school who laughed at me for supporting Blackpool "Blackpool are shit mate " , as if it were that simple, everyone just support the best team for some cheap bragging right. It's not about success, it's about connection and I never envied them cause they had no connection to "their clubs".

Was just as bad with Blackburn when they had Shearer and were probably the best team in England for a year or two.

Man U going downhill would probably benefit us, if anything but they're too big to fail out of the PL ever at this point as long as they maintain the commercial side of things.

If you were there that night, it wasn't just that they had a laugh at us, it was their astonishing arrogance, disrespect and entitlement that will have stuck in many fans craws. This isn't a 10 year thing clearly but, as others have said, it's a fabulous two fingers up to all those who bought seats in the Blackpool end (especially the tossers on the balcony who wanted to have a fight all night) and the fact they had so little respect for their home town club that they acted in that way (and yes I do know many of those I'm referring to were brought up and live in Blackpool).

Not a strange o/p - merely a reminder that we should feel no pity for them as they lurch in to another crisis season.
Am I alone in this or is that fair enough?

There were some right wankers in show that night. No question. I can't say I'm that interested in any of the prem brigade though full stop. Try living on Wirral as I do, surrounded by plastic red tunnel rats giving it the biggun at every opportunity. Painful 🙄

Yep, I was there that night, screaming at the ref for not giving the pen like most sat around me that would have made it 3-0 when one of the DeSilva brothers got injured in the process. I was also at Old Trafford on the last game on the season as well cheering the Pool on if you're interested?

The point I was making was that Man U have had all sorts of sh1t happening in the last 10 years but you chose to link today's opening defeat to the events of the night at Bloomers 10 years ago, that's all?

I don't dispute by the way the behaviours of MU fans around the ground who clearly live on the coast.

Not sure I know any local pubs which are predominantly some of those teams on that list but there are plenty of Liverpool and United ones in the area.
A general comment. Local footy, pubs, general life and you'll see plenty of all these.

It's part of life. If 150k that lived in Blackpool supported us then we'd be in bother.

The obsession with all things Man Utd on here is frankly hilarious

They are ** shit and in a different division and are not Blackpool rivals …….. but will lose a lot of games this season so many on here will have chance for a hand shandy 👍

My 2 nd team if you like. But I don't shout for them. Not even gonna stick up for them here. Whereas if someone called Blackpool. They would get a right mouthful !.

Another good start to the season 🤣
Especially the ones on the Fylde Coast who revelled in our defeat when United (unjustly) won 3-2 - PMSL at the state of your club and wish I could see your faces now!
Nothings changed they just don't have refs giving them everything now whiskey nose has gone .

you just look at the team on paper and think is that it... Was Rashford up top on his own ??? Ronadlo ( who wants out ) as the only genuine central forwards???

the United fans who attend / used to attend Bloomers back in the day used to annoy me to fuck .... I remember one knob used to wear his United ski hat thing in the old west stand ... went to most Pool home games and just complained... one half time we were 2 - 0 nothing down against someone shit like York or Chester ... dodgy ref ... every fucker was annoyed ... Half time the United score came on the tannoy they were 2 up away from home... he gave out an annoying, fist pumping ''yeah'' an some old bloke about 60 ood just proper chinned him.... !!! I dont condone violence but it seemed to be justified!

Try the Golden Eagle in FY5.

Plastic central with Manure just edging the Bindippers for gobby TellyReds.
There's miles more United fans than Scousers in there, always has been.

Not sure if Kev is still running the place but he named the vaults with something to do with United. Haven't been in there for ages.

They were jumping out of the windows after tonight. They didn't realise it was only 3 feet to the ground.
